Loose tooth

If you had told me that someone else’s loose tooth would ruin an entire weekend I would not have believed you.
AuDHD, PDAer, GAD 8 years old.
Loose teeth have been an issue in the past but this time, it is earth shattering. She sobbed like her dog had died for 2 hours last night. This morning she is laying on the couch, won’t move. She is refusing to eat, struggling to swallow… of course she won’t let us pop it out and won’t go to dentist either. School start tomorrow and I don’t know if she can go… any advice please?! I will include you in my will if you can solve this!

Equalizing

Has anyone figured out a solution or any help for equalizing against a younger sibling? I am so tired of listening to her berate her little brother who is the most flexible easy-going kind person. She could not have been paired with a better sibling because he takes so much shit from her, But it grates on my nerves as a parent and I see it destroying their relationship. She is completely oblivious, but he started to talk to me about it and how much he doesn’t like her and I cannot fault him at all.

Summer time is terrible.

How is summer going for you all? Ours is terrible. 8yr old AuDHD, PDA profile & GAD is having a very hard time, had to switch camps, didn’t like the first camp which is standard summer. Second camp is a great fit, but she is having panic attacks/tantrums 3-5 times a week. Weekends are a nightmare. Anyone else? 😅

Help convincing partner

We are about to inherit about $12M. We have no debt besides house. We both work fairly busy jobs, but have a lot of flexibility, but a job is still a job. We have 2 young kids. Partner wants both of us to keep working. This seems crazy to me. How can I convince them we can retire?

TV.

Does TV/screentime regulate or dysregulate your PDA-er?

Bonus points if they have ADHD.

We have always thought it helps regulate, with boundaries/limits but I am wondering if we were wrong…..

Road of Bones

I am only on book 2 but man I thought this series (so far) is well written and it’s totally reminding me of ToG.

I don’t see this one mentioned very ofter. But well written and vikings 😍.

I started ortho cyclen 4 weeks ago, adjusting has been fine, feeling good. I recently had to quit Loryna for too many unfun side effects. My lips are so chapped feeling, chapstick does nothing. Will this go away or is this how it goes on ortho cyclen??? I am not sure if I can handle it. My eyes feel dry too… and I already have dry eye. Stick with it or give up!?
