Ok, so for those not in the loop, about a year ago a bunch of stuff happened with the Chairpage in the domain and it eventually got completely shut down and the domain name wasn't owned by anyone. With the stuff happening with the band recently I suspected if anythings happening with the band, chairpage will be the first sign (I also posted about that here). I've been checking the page daily to check for any updates. Now yesterday when I checked it was the usual no domain found error, But...

I just checked and the domain appears to have been purchased!

At the minute, its just a blank page. BUT that at least means somethings going to happen with it. A blank page is a massive update compared to no page at all.

Sorry I know not exactly circlejerk content but I just remembered it.

In 2019 (I think) Jason told a story about how not long after his dad died jimmy turned up with a prostitute crawling on the ground and a bunch of cocaine which he then gave to a very young Jason to have.

The way Jason told the story made it sound quite traumatic.

Not long after, people bullied Jason into apologising for talking about jimmy like that. Why does no one talk about this????

So with everything going on and the confirmation that the band aren’t playing I’m really starting to wonder if maybe they’ll have been in rehearsal recently and they were genuinely just too rusty to play.

Dan was spotted in Newcastle (he doesn’t live there anymore) on the 23rd which is around the time they would have started emergency rehearsal.

With how no one including people close to the band and industry insiders seemed to know for sure whether the band were gonna play I really do wonder if the reason Dan was in Newcastle was for a rehearsal just to see how they’d feel playing together after all these years.

If I’m correct then it 100% seems the rehearsals were positive

He’s posted a ton of songs to his story, which is quite odd for him first of all, but it’s the songs he’s posting which really get me attention. This isn’t the full list but some songs which raised my eyebrows were

“In the garage”
“One more night”
“In motion”
“Blue Moon”

There’s a ton more posted which also raised an eyebrow

I’m aware I’m fully looking to far into this but cmon let me dream just this once 😭

Also Ben never posts stuff like this and he’s changed his pfp to the Newcastle knights so he’s 100% aware of everything going on.

All this + the fact Daniel’s been sighted in Newcastle recently for an unknown reason (he hasn’t lived there for a while now) and with how the boys have been on good terms recently I do wonder.

The songs Ben’s posting seem to point towards one final night to send off the band so I can’t see a full reunion ever happening but still!!

I’m sure this post will age really well on Sunday when they don’t turn up and nothing happens 😭

WDR Rockpalast upload footage on their youtube channel. When Pinkpop started uploading footage I started asking them daily to upload their silverchair footage which worked! They uploaded the Pinkpop 97 footage not long into me asking.

I've started doing the same thing on this channel, I'm thinking if enough people ask for silverchair footage then they'll hopefully upload some!

Shows with an asterisk next to them are shows we have full, or nearly full footage of already. The most sought after footage out of these is the Rock Im Park 2003 show. I think the Arena Berlin 2003 show is the best show they ever did full stop based on the bootlegs so I'd really love to see that one.

The earlier shows are of less interest as they were pretty much the same show to show. In 2003 though, every show would be different

I've been remastering Homebake 2006 and apart from some crowd recordings theres no proshot footage of these songs.

From the crowd recordings I assume its a case of the band asking for those songs not to be broadcast as Daniel was struggling with these songs (especially straight lines), but from what I can tell pro-shot footage of these songs was out there at some point.

If anyone has this footage that they could send to me that would be a great help!

Also, if anyone has the Narc recording of this show that they could send me that would be amazing aswell :) my rip of the show is pretty high quality but I know his rips were always as HQ as possible

Hey guys. I've got Insane Kart Wii running on Dolphin and I'd like to add some custom characters from outside the modpack. Trouble is, I can't figure out how to do this. There isn't any obvious places to put the custom character files in and I've tried putting them in the My Stuff folder and I couldn't get that to work.

Am I doing something wrong or is this just not possible? Thanks!

I find that when I'm mixing anything the work I get done in the first hour or so is amazing and it feels like the track will be done in just a few more hours. However, after a certain amount of time I feel like I lose the ability to mix properly. Everything just sounds completely awful and I can't get anything to sound good. If I listen to a mix I've done while fatigued Its never bad and it does sound like progress has been made but in the moment it sounds horrible and like I can't focus in on the mix properly.

Is there any way I can prevent this sort of thing happening? I imagine taking frequent breaks would help but I worry this would take me out of the zone and drastically slow down the time it takes to mix.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
