Emotional attachment to one side restarting adulthood would you have children again?

I'm genuinely curious to understand your real thoughts without the existing emotional attachment you have with your children. An answer where that has 0 bearing on your decision. No influence at all. Just pure selfishness for yourself and want you want. There'll be no judgement. Its purely a hypothetical and I know they are the best thing thats ever happened to you and they bring you immense joy. But for the sake of this question if you were 18 again what would you do and chasing to have kids again means you wouldnt have the kids you have now itll be new set of kids that youve never met before

Everyone prays for an easy life, so why do we always pick the hardest route?

I've come to realise we often want a stress free life, one that is easy. Yet we chose to raise a family which is hard work, we chose to romanticise relationships which is emotionally draining, we cling onto old friendships that we've outgrown that limits our potential. Are people just so incline to do make decision in fear of missing out or do we really not known what we want and by following certain rules we are kept busy, living a fast life that is often repetitive and losing ourselves on what we wanted back as young adults. Is life really about a life worth living or a life worth doing

How do you deal with a cunning Manipulator?

I spoke directly to my second cousin, calling them out on a string of lies and manipulation that has caused me both mental and physical harm at a reunion event. Where mutual friends treat me differently and 1 person attempted to attack me by throwing a punch but thankfully they smoked a joint before so it didn't land well.

The challenging part is. The manipulator has sacrifice me for their own self gain and interest. And somehow got inside head of my 1st cousin who is quite stupid and spread false rumors unknowingly. My second cousin has always been a bit evil ever since we were kids. Doing certain things normal kids wouldn't. Almost as if they are a bit emotionally stupid but never done anything to serious. After I shared my thoughts my second cousin did not acknowledge my feelings, only deflected and disagreed. Then turned the focal point of conversation to me where I somehow felt bad. It seems as though only I can detect the bullshit and 3 of best friends know the truth and have decided to stay quiet and neutral to avoid conflict. Only one friend said something, she mentioned I just have to watch my shoulder. I sat there thinking that doesn't help. No one seems to understand the gravity of the situation, stress and pressure from all this deceit. Now, every time I bring up the truth or leading up to it, in front of others my second cousin shuts it down quickly in a way where if i call it out people will thinking i am attacking for no reason and that i have issues.

I can tell they have history of doing this sort of avoidance but can't seem to convince others despite having proof. There seems to be no real accountability. And have known my second cousin lie and deceive others. An expert at this. Now I am stuck as If i bring this up everyone friends and family will say i am obsessed. It feels like I am being toyed with. and Wondering if best way is to try and catch them red handed in the act but this would require me to manipulate others temporarily in not harmful way to achieve this. It doesn't feel right and i don't want to do that. At same time I am so tied of it all and just want peace, no drama, no conflict, just the truth and an explanation why I have been betrayed. On the other hand, I just want to not engage and only do it if i have to as I can't completely cut them out.

What should I do as my second cousin is family and a big southern style BBQ is happening where they will be attending. I just want to relax at these gatherings but feel like i am always on edge now. I want to do this before they move across to the States for College for a few years end of summer and I want this off my chest before then.

In 2026 is Cut page better for first rough cut or do everything in Edit page?

I've spent the entire day trawling through forums, reddit and other areas on this. It looks like a lot of people are stuck in their old ways and habits, so therefore stick to Edit page. Whilst others embrace it, but say it's only good with speed editor....

So my thoughts are this, no matter how you view it. Ultimately, Cut is always better for first rough cuts. Then Edit page for fine tune. That it is worth it even without a speed editor. As Cut page just has a better timeline layout, useful keyboard shortcuts and auto ripple on AV1. The more you do it the faster and better you become to.

This foundation reigns supreme in my opinion. It's one hand on keyboard and one on mouse clicking around. After a while, with muscle memory it should be insanely quick. Plus the labels on each video with red amber and green tags to mark whats usable before you use in and out and F9 is logically quicker. And good practice to have one consistent workflow for long form, shorts or even basic shot videos.

I'm looking at this objectively for the most efficient setup without much customization required. And believe this is it. Does anyone else agree?
Would like to hear your thoughts

(Please don't be bias, i've seen enough of those 'Im semi pro so dont need it or im just so use to edit page it makes sense enough for me' type comment as it adds nothing to the above question)
