26 / PC / Any (PvE Coop Only)

Hi Filipinos!

I'm not a Filipino, but I've been staying in the Philippines for almost 2 years (and will be staying here for the next few years).

Looking for a small group of friends to play with.

About me:

  • I play PvE / Co-op games (wide genre; from shooter like Insurgency / Arma, to Simulation like ETS / Snowrunner, or horror like REPO / Phasmo etc.)
  • I have experience in hosting dedicated servers (Minecraft, Terraria, Insurgency Sandstorm, Arma 3, Valheim etc.)
  • I can afford to buy games that you play (if it's not too expensive & I find it interesting 😆)

Requirements:

  • Small group of friends (ideally <10 people)
  • Strictly no PvP game (either casual or competitive)
  • English speaking
  • PC games only

If you want to chill and play, while exchanging culture with a neighbouring country, or even practice to speak English (don't worry my English isn't that great either), hit me up!

(Full version + 4K) Pertama kali mencoba colour grading

Karena kayaknya banyak yang suka post gw sebelumnya (thank you btw!), allow me to share the full 2 minutes, 4k version.

>All footage is shot on 4K N-Log and edited with Davinci Resolve. Audio from the X8 is recorded directly into the Z50ii.

I was torn whether to use my Sigma 17-50mm f2.8 lens, Nikon 16-50mm kit lens, or the SG-Image 25mm f1.8 for this project, but ultimately, I went for the SG-Image due to it being the lightest, and has the widest aperture which helps a lot when shooting on low light condition.

Thins to improve:
- I should've used a lens hood for the 25mm lens, which will help on the glaring issues on some of the shots
- Better camera positioning to reduce light flare (by not pointing directly towards light source)
- The electronic VR seems to be struggling on some shot, causing visible jittery effect (I left it on because I was recording it handheld and the lens doesn't have VR)

You can go stupid fast with Twinsteer on H gear with Highrange transmission.

Actually not sure if this is a glitch or not, but anyway...

From my testing, wheel and engine doesn't really affect this, you only need to use the Highrange transmission (you can use offroad too, but I think it's a bit slower than Highrange).

To do this, accelerate on auto and wait until it changes to 2nd gear (or press / spam L-shift / LB to change gear early), after it enters 2nd gear, change to High gear, and watch it fly.

It works the best on non-asphalt road (especially off-road), on asphalt, using Auto + spamming L-shift / LB is still faster.

Just want to share my small test result of K&F Concept's EN-EL25 battery (the one with USB-C port) on my Z50ii.

1080p 30fps h265 8bit:

  • K&F's EN-EL25: 1 hour 54 minutes
  • Nikon's EN-EL25a (came with Z50ii): 1 hour 56 mins

4k 30fps h265 8bit:

  • K&F's EN-EL25: 1 hour 21 minutes
  • Nikon's EN-EL25a (came with Z50ii): 1 hour 27 mins

Note: all tests are done with the camera placed statically facing static objects (which means the AF isn't hunting all the time), with -2 monitor brightness.

Overall, I'm quite happy with the result, especially considering that I got the battery for only $23 USD. Not sure yet how long the battery will last compared to Nikon's OEM battery (hopefully it last long!)

I'm planning to get another K&F EN-EL25 with slightly larger capacity but without USB-C charging (7.6v 1600mAh) and compare it with Nikon's EN-EL25a and my current K&F battery.

Hi r/microphone!

I was looking for a cheap small mic to put on my Nikon Z50ii for recording family trip, but then I remembered that I have a Tascam Portacapture X8 and the microphone that came with it sounds pretty good, so I was wondering if I can somehow use that mic on my Z50ii (I don't want to carry the recorder itself for family trip because it's quite bulky).

What I was going to try:
- Get Rode SC11 (TRS splitter cable for connecting two mono outputs to a single stereo input.)
- Get 2 male to male 3.5mm adapter that will connect the SC11 and the microphone
- 3d print a small hotshoe stand to hold the mic

(Check the image on this post)

Will this setup works? (if not, why?)

Also I'm aware that there's an existing product for this, like Hose Stereo Breakout Cable, but I can't find anywhere that sells this in the country I'm in.
