Bir yıldır işsiz ve artık bıktım

Herkese selam,

Looking for a podcast mentor who’s been through this journey!

Hey everyone!

I’m working on launching my first podcast soon! I haven’t actually shared this with anyone in my real life yet🫣 mostly out of shyness, but also because no one around me really gets this space.

I’m doing my homework and putting in the work, but I’d love to connect with someone who’s already walked this path and remembers what it feels like to start from scratch. No gatekeeping, no easy shortcuts requested—just a kind, experienced soul willing to offer a bit of guidance or a friendly check-in when I hit a wall.

If you’d be open to walking alongside a beginner for a bit, I’d love to talk

Cheers🫶🫶

[25/F] Escaping the doomscroll loop and looking for a genuine friend to exchange emails with

Hi,

I’m 25, from Istanbul, and currently muting the noise of short-form content and doomscrolling. I'm looking for an email penpal (ideally Spanish-speaking, but open!) to exchange long-form thoughts, random realizations, and good recommendations.

I want a real, healthy friendship with someone who is passionate about learning, open-minded, and appreciates dry humor. No venting or trauma-dumping—just two curious people talking about books, movies, history, travel, and whatever rabbit hole we fell into this week.

If you like deep dives, sarcasm, and slow communication, tell me: What’s a random thing you realized or learned today?

24F offering: Turkish, friendly talk Seeking: English

Hi everyone!

I’m a 24F from Istanbul. My English is around B1-B2, but I get super shy and anxious when speaking in real life, so I’m looking for a native speaker to help me push past this barrier.

I’m looking for an open-minded, emotionally intelligent friend. We can talk about art, philosophy, the content we consume, or just life in general.

I’d love a friendship where we can motivate each other to grow, while keeping it fun and casual!

Looking people from Patagonia

Hola!

I'm doing some personal research on Patagonia. Since it's culturally and geographically so far from me, I've only seen it through travel blogs so far

I'd love to have a quick, casual chat with anyone who lives there, has lived there, or traveled through. Just wanting to hear your thoughts and get a real feel for the place

If you're up for sharing some of your experiences, please dm me💓

Which country had the biggest 'what they say vs reality' gap when you actually met the locals? And Why?

I’ve been thinking lately about how much our perception of other cultures is shaped by random media, movies, or just what people say. Have you ever been to a country where the locals completely shattered those expectations and turned out to be the exact opposite of what you’d grown up hearing?

Seeking: English (Native) | Offering: Turkish & Chill Conversations

Hi everyone!

I’m a recent graduate living in Turkey, looking for a friendly language exchange partner to practice my English speaking.

I find strict video call schedules a bit stressful. Instead, I love exchanging voice notesthroughout the day. It’s way more flexible, low-pressure, and feels like chatting with a real friend.

I’m super open to talking about anything—culture, history, movies, or just how our day went.

If this sounds like your vibe, drop me a message and tell me a bit about yourself!

Cheers🌸

Seeking: English (Native) | Offering: Turkish & Chill Conversations

Hi everyone!

I’m a recent graduate living in Turkey, looking for a friendly language exchange partner to practice my English speaking.

I really want to overcome my hesitation and speak more fluently. In return, I’d love to help you with your Turkish. I can teach you natural, everyday expressions and help you sound like a local.

How I like to practice: I find strict video call schedules a bit stressful. Instead, I love exchanging voice notes throughout the day. It’s way more flexible, low-pressure, and feels like chatting with a real friend.

What I'm looking for: A native English speaker who is genuinely interested in Turkish. For me, good chemistry and a friendly connection matter the most! 🤝 I’d love to chat here on Reddit for a bit first to see if we vibe and share similar interests. If we click, we can move to voice notes.

I’m super open to talking about anything—culture, history, movies, or just how our day went.

If this sounds like your vibe, drop me a message and tell me a bit about yourself!

Cheers🌸
