My parents have been fighting in family court for over a decade now, for domestic violence and also because 2 years after my birth, my father started claiming that I am not his biological daughter, hence leading to their separation.
The initial case from my mother’s side was to prove that I am, indeed, his biological daughter and that has been proved by the court through DNA testing.
I am 22 now and a student, and I will be filing a maintenance complaint/case from my side.
I would like to know if you all have ever come across a case like this and how likely is the positive outcome.
From the period of my parent’s separation till today, neither me nor my mom received a penny from my father’s side. Is it possible to ask for maintenance money?
