Has anyone used an iRestore helmet?

Just like the title asks, has anyone used the helmet? I’ve been debating buying one. I’m currently on a spiro/ minoxidil combination pill and while it’s improved my shedding it’s done nothing for hair growth. I’ve been on it for 9 months now and was previously using foam minoxidil. I’ve also tried PRP and it did nothing. I was also considering buying a helmet because I’ve had paradoxical hypertrichosis using laser hair removal methods on other parts of my body. Thoughts?

Step mom that’s frustrated with others rules

I am getting so frustrated with the rules that my partner gives me when he is out running errands or doing his own thing. Multiple times a week, my partner (M, 32) has to leave and go to meetings and run errands so I am left responsible for his son (M- 10), my step son. These meetings last anywhere from 1-2 hours. For background, I’ve known my step son for basically his entire life.

He is 10 years old and my rule is that he has to stay home while his dad is away. This wasn’t always the case. He used to be able to go outside with friends until I found out that he was continuously lying about where he was and/or hanging out with. That, or he would have friends over in our yard and they would leave messes, act like fools (jumping off the deck), and or trying to break things. To add, the kids in this neighborhood are kids I do not trust at all. They are the kind of kids that will be involved in the criminal justice system at a young age or get a girl pregnant. So, because of this, I changed the rules because I cannot trust him.

Well, his dad would frequently call me while he was out and said “hey, he’s allowed to go outside while I’m gone”… but I don’t feel safe doing that because I feel I’m still technically responsible for him. He claims because he’s the father and “only a phone call away” that he is responsible.

Long story short, his son will bombard him while he’s out saying he’s “bored” and that it’s not fair that he can’t go outside and do anything. I feel like an hour isn’t long to be inside while his dad is away.

I also feel like he shouldn’t be putting rules on me since I am the one taking care of him. If I’m the one here it should be my rules. Im very frustrated. I feel like im constantly undermined. Am I thinking about this wrong? Is there a compromise?

I went back to get my eyebrows fixed.. and they’re worse

Currently crying in the parking lot. I went back to get my eyebrows fixed and the other person they had completely botched them. They’re not symmetrical at all. I feel completely defeated. I asked for a straight line that connects the bottom of my brow with my arch. She completely got rid of the bottom of my brows.

I already got a refund from the last time and this time was “free”. I don’t know what else to do.. except never go back.

Last pic is what they’re supposed to look like.

Vintage rattan/wicker piece, what’s it worth?

Hi everyone. I’ve had this in my basement for years. I bought this at a garage sale a long time ago and I’m looking to get rid of it. I want to put it on Facebook marketplace. How much should I sell it for?

I got my eye brows done at Ulta, am I over thinking this?

I got my eyebrows done today and this time, the procedure was different than normal. There was a different woman covering as the usual woman is on vacation. The girl I’m usually with typically draws on my eye brows, waxes them, plucks them, cuts them from the top, then fills in with her brow pen. Today, the girl waxed them and plucked and that was it. She handed me the mirror and I thought it looked okay, but she didn’t really shape my brows and more just got rid of surrounding hair around the brow. I get in the car and I see that I still have very pluckable hair near my brow. Am I over reacting but I feel like I didn’t really get the service I was expecting and she didn’t shape my brows.

I sent the wrong item to the customer and now they’re not responding. Tips?

Long story short, a customer purchased some on cloud women’s tennis shoes from me. I “sent them in” not thinking anything of it. A couple days later, I was cleaning the house and I realized that I sent the buyer a very similar pair of shoes but in a men’s size. I reached out to the buyer to let them know and encouraged them to open a case upon the item’s arrival. Well, it’s been about a week since the package has been delivered and the buyer is not responding to my messages and hasn’t opened a case up. Is there a period of time that Depop will automatically close this out? Or should I continue to reach out?

To add, both shoes are of similar value so I would not really be missing out on much. One is a women’s size 10 and the other is a men’s size 10. They’re nearly identical.

I got my upper lip done, here’s my experience:

Hi! As everyone can see on my post history, I was really nervous about getting my upper lip done. But! I will say it felt no different to anywhere else on my face (she’s been working on my cheeks and side burns). She told me she turned the setting down as well. My appt was at 4:15 and this is what I did!

2:45- took 2 ibuprofens
3:15- took 2 more ibuprofens, put lidocaine on my top lip
3:45- put more lidocaine on my top lip
4:15 ish- appt starts and she put cream on my top lip and started elsewhere on my face. About 5 minutes later, she started on my top lip and it felt the same as it did elsewhere on my face. I didn’t shed a tear. Now, she did say that hair right below my nostril will be more painful, but we’ll start on those hairs next time.

100% doable. In addition, I also drank a lot of water all day and didn’t have any caffeine this week. I hope this can help other people!

About to get my upper lip done, tips?

This coming week, I’m going to get my upper lip hair done. I’ve been dreading it as I heard it can be very painful. Does anyone have any stories or experiences to share? Any tips to make the experience a little more bearable?

For context, I’ve been getting electrolysis since December ‘25 on my cheeks and sideburns. I go about every two weeks.
