blooming your k cup coffee.

i been trying out blooming my coffee for awhile, and trying it in a reusable k cup today with really really hot water actually helped a lot with the brew!

you just need hot water at 195 or 200 degrees and to steep your coffee pod into the water for a while. until "yep that will do!"

it will bubble and release gases. and after that now jam that reusable pod into the keurig machine and hit brew.

it actually has improved flavor of the coffee to me! might work for you?

EDIT

this is just a silly method i did, i bet there are better ways to do this!

but it seemed to work for me and my keurig.

keurig machines... why are they sold even though they are pretty much failing?

for a while now people have been having sooo much trouble with them and getting them to work right.

but they just don't seem to work well at all? how come? is this on purpose? why do they not make a model with all the fixes and sell it?

we get problems like the machine just suddenly stops working after a clean with white vinegar

(i had to open mine which was hard and i ended up breaking it anyway to reach up in there to push a button with a paper clip and pliers to reset the machine!)

coffee sometimes tastes burnt even after a clean machine. (machine makes water too hot?)

some machines just give up anyway after a short while.

i am sure that there is a much bigger list of problems with the keurig machine than this list i made.

it makes me wonder why they even make them still. even the expensive models are acting like cheap ones.

love the concept hate the execution.

interested in trying new k cup brands!

i'm interested in trying new keurig k cups coffee cups, but i am also very interested in trying what amazon and ebay offers! just out to look for the not so common brands that are actually good and not very much heard of.

EDIT (or even whatever you guys suggest!)

they got a lot of brands i never see at the store... and i am wondering if people have suggestions on those kinds!

for example..... i see illy classico on amazon.... it has a rating of 4.7? anyone try that?

what is a candy you saw advertised, and you never found it? and it's now of course discontinued...

Extinguisher candies 2009

i will start with extinguisher candy!

i loved the concept, but i never found it anywhere to try it! and now i find out sadly it's been discontinued for a long long while...

3 levels of sour. meh..... , oohh! ... okay! not bad! , and woah there!

and if it's too much for you at any of the levels of sour quickly grab a sweet berry relief candy and plop it in to make you feel better!

or just eat it however you like.

Legacy Standard Bible

what's everyone's thoughts on the legacy standard bible? published by 316 publishing?

i really like how this translation brings YHWH's personal name back into the bible. instead of "The Lord of Hosts" in its place places it will have "Yahweh of hosts"

i really love it for that reason alone but that's really it.

i wanna see what others say about this translation. and why they may like it or not.

making crispy chicken tenders at home just like in the restaurants.

i have for many.... many.... long... years.... been trying to master and make my own home made crispy chicken tenders crispy and crunchy, restaurant style.

and i just cannot seem to get it right. at all.

i got pretty much every ingredient for it. tried everything. cornstarch eggs paprika seasoning onion powder garlic powder salt pepper flour baking powder panco bread crumbs crispy chicken batter mixes.... etc.... mixing and matching them in all sorts of recipes. always using ingredients in from the recipes. if i don't got it i get it.

every recipe i ever tried everything i ever done always gave me soggy. coating separating from the meat. non crispy. or slightly crispy but not all over like it should be. chicken tenders.

best i can do for at home crispy chicken tenders is great value chicken fingers frozen from the package.

i just want KFC at home 😭

what do i do wrong?

i always do it at 350 degrees. tried basket and no basket always putting the lid on.

i even got my own thermometer to make sure it is at 350 degrees!

my deep fryer is a presto big kettle deep fryer. sadly lately now it has given up being at around 350 degrees.

trying to hang in there not giving up! but it's definitely getting rough...

are there any other people here who liked these and would want these to come back?

how do you like to study your bible?

do you see what preachers say and then read? or do you read and then see what preachers say?

do you circle and underline in your bible? or do you leave it blank?

do you like to do it alone or with friends and family?

do you read alone more than with family and friends?

do you study with one version of the bible? or do you study with more than one?

do you believe reading the bible daily? or sometimes?

the way i read my bible is 1 proverb and 1 psalm and then 6 chapters with my mother.

and in the morning 3 chapters alone. no underlining or circles. and i like to read first and then see what preachers say. and i like to read every day!

but i am curious to see other peoples reading plans.
