I’m considering going to UAEU for my undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering and I wanted to hear honest opinions from current students or graduates.

Is UAEU worth it, especially for an international student? How is the overall experience, quality of education, opportunities, and career prospects after graduation?

I recently received an offer from UAEU, and I'd like to accept it, but I'm still waiting to hear back from another university. I posted yesterday about the acceptance deadline, but I have another concern.

The problem is that seats are limited, and I don't want to lose my place at UAEU in case I don't get accepted by the other university.

If I accept the UAEU offer now, is there any fee I have to pay immediately? Also, if I later decide to withdraw because I get into the other university, would I have to pay any fees or face any penalties?

Also, does UAEU allow students to withdraw after accepting an offer, and is this a common or normal situation? Has anyone here gone through this before?

I'd really appreciate it if anyone who's been in a similar situation or knows how UAEU handles this could share their experience. Please let me know as I'm in a desperate situation right now. Thank youu!

I recently received an admission offer to UAEU for Fall 2026, but my admission letter and portal don't mention any deadline to accept or confirm my offer. The letter only says that seats are limited and that I should respond as soon as possible to reserve my seat.

Has anyone been in the same situation? How long did you have to accept your offer? Did UAEU eventually give you a deadline, or should I confirm as soon as possible?

I contacted them, but I’m still waiting for a reply. I’m wondering if this is a glitch or if the decision is definitely final.

I’m an international student (in UAE) currently deciding where to study engineering. I’m considering Monash University Malaysia, but I’ve heard mixed opinions and I’m not sure if it is the best choice for my goals. I want to get a good engineering education and have good job opportunities after graduation.

I’m also open to other options outside Malaysia, but I’m not sure where to look.

For people who know about Malaysian universities:

• Is Monash Malaysia worth it for engineering?

• Are universities like Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) or Universiti Malaya (UM) better choices for engineering?

Also, if you don’t recommend Malaysia, where else would you suggest for engineering with good international recognition, job opportunities, and a reasonable cost?

I'm a bit confused about the scholarship process at UAEU. Do I need to submit a separate scholarship application, or am I automatically considered when I apply for admission?

I've heard both UoS and Heriot-Watt Dubai are really good for engineering, but I'm confused about which one to choose for Robotics Engineering.

For engineering (especially AI/robotics-related fields), which one would you recommend and why? Looking at education quality, reputation, internships, and job opportunities.

I was currently filling out my online application for the Fall 2026 semester for an undergraduate program within the College of Engineering. My intention is to major in Intelligent Systems and Mechatronics Engineering.

​However, when reaching the "Academic Program" selection dropdown, this specific major does not appear as an option, even after scrolling through the entire list or refreshing multiple times.

I emailed them but they tell me to do extra stuff for my inquiry to be answered. Has anyone faced this before? What should I do?
