What's the strategy to find minerals , for example, I want iron , i just have to walk on a straight line until i find some piece of hematite and that's it? Another day I walked for hours and couldn't find what I wanted

I would like some help. I feel that even when putting pressure on my opponent, I often arrive late to the castle age. I would like to know how to improve in this specific aspect. I know I have a lot to improve, but I want to focus on one thing at a time, and I see that this has been my weakness.

I know theoretically what I have to do: 12-15 farms, start building farms early, send more for gold, and maybe use the market, but I don't know where I'm going wrong. I'd like someone to help me with this.

I am between 1300-1400 Elo.

I wanna improve plaing the same civ over and over and doing de same opening, i was wondering, what is the best for VIet?

21 pop maa : better eco but sometimes if the enemy is a waller he can wall before i get there and he can make army sooner than 20 pop, he can make one archer and small walls them the game is hard for me

20 pop maa: in other hand 20 pop is sooner but the eco feels like garbage, i send the last vil to make the barracks, feels weird because when i click up my barracks is not up yet, so that's delay my first militia, i still feel that's faster than 21 pop maa but i don't know exacly how much

what's the best overall choice? whats the meta? i know pross almost never go 21 pop nowadays, i don't have a sure about it

Im talking mostly on chicken maps

i wanna make maa 20 pop , im around 1300-1400 elo, on the chicken map i feel the lack of food when reach feudal, i want maa upgrade, Double-bit and villager production, with a generic civ i can't afford a mill, then my question about it:

should i long distance the chickes?

should i kill 2 sheep because i have a lot of vils on the TC and Boars are gone ?

I like play Viet, wanna improve that, especifically

to click up i use barracks and lumber to do that

when i click i send 2 to gold and 5 for berrys

I want some help about this game, i don't think i made any major mistake, i can't play skirm with turks, because delay my up time and are useless vs xbow timing, what could i do better in this game?
