I'm living through you folks for a bit longer. Ive had a zx4rr, zx6r, and now have a mt-09sp. Looking to get into sumo sometime next year. Give me your thoughts and feelings.
So it's a preface this I have had a zx6, recently switched to and MT-09SP which I love. I'm now infatuated with sumos and feel like I can justify buying one.. This will be a graduation present to myself as I'm graduating nursing school in December so I want to know what you guys suggest. I live in the Pacific Northwest and really like doing twisties but I also want the option to take some of the fire roads if enticed.
Where do I start? I want to hooligan, I want to hit some jumps.

It started randomly today after a quick ride up our local mountain. I wasn't ripping just cruising behind a car. Heard it on the descent. Chain is within limits. Axle block is aligned on both sides. I'm at a loss.
The whine starts at around 7seconds in.
