Sometimes force quitting the programme works but surely there is a better fix? I'm not wanting to upgrade to Tahoe yet

If I place an order over the £15 cart minimum but then cancel one of the items, will the rest of the order get cancelled?

I've only ever made larger orders but the other items total to 92p because I had a voucher and discount code so I feel like there's a big chance of those being cancelled lmao

or does it just not matter if the order is already through?

I have an unexpected problem - we had about a 40% yes RSVP (still being ghosted by a bunch of invites a few days after the deadline, which, lol) and our original plans will now put us at about half of the venue's minimum spend (5k)

A problem I literally never imagined to have, and will have to discuss with the venue as to how we can fill the money we need to pay them... we are getting married where most people will need to fly and travel significantly, so we knew most people would not be able to come, but I was hoping 60-70, not maybe just over 40. So many people had to decline bc of conflicts, finances, illnesses, surgeries, didn't anticipate that at all :/

Do you find that page viewed/email opened is accurate on Paperless Post?

I have notifications that people have *just* now viewed the page on the deadline of RSVP and only 'email opened' when it was initially sent out, simultaneously have a list of people who are on 'unopened' who actually did open and view the card 🫠

Is anyone else still fixated on being weird/awkward/shy/having poor social skills in high school/growing up

because you were horrifically abused at home? I am still stuck on these memories even though I'm sure most people (especially my old friends) don't even think about them or me at all. I just wish things were different so I could have had a chance at a normal childhood and am not stuck with all of this for life

Am I missing something? I've checked my VQA submissions with issues multiple times and corrected the errors and they're still sitting as open/non resolved

When I click submit does it go back to the reviewer?

Fairly certain my mother's behaviour is the reason why none of my (deceased) father's family are not coming to my wedding

They always hated her and called out her behaviour growing up, I rarely saw my cousins on that side growing up even though they only lived 2 hours away, and after our grandmother died I don't see any of them for years. They literally *all* went to my other cousin's wedding but the reasons for mine feel like convenient excuses because they think she is going to be there (she is not, she is homeless). I'm just devastated about it and it unfair when I've tried so hard throughout my life to be nothing like her :(

Two weeks before RSVP deadline, I'm at 50% RSVPs in of those invited and half of them can't come for various reasons...

Starting to panic a bit because our initial invite list was around 110 and it's looking like our wedding will be a lot smaller than expected, I don't know if people just put travel plans off or are worried about money or what but it's making me sad especially when it's a lot of family members + friends that we literally never see :(

Is there any real substantial difference between the Fast and Free Short 8" Light and the regular ones?

(five pocket, not the other running shorts) I just grabbed these because they were down to £24 in the summer sale but realised it says the fabric is lighter? Just curious because I love the fast & free leggings and they are literally all I wear for hiking but have never grabbed any shorts before

Does anyone know if it's possible to hold/receive a BA/Leverhulme small grant and a Leverhulme early career fellowship? Or similar combinations of funding schemes?

Obviously not making assumptions that I will *receive* any, just making an application to something else and commenting on future plans.

I literally cannot explain why DS2 has just... stuck in my head almost a year after its release, even when I prefer the atmosphere of DS1. The imagery of the last boss battles, the plot, was it Higgs? Does anyone else feel the same way?

Are there any general strong opinions on 'green open access' vs full open access? Looking at publishing a volume with Brepols and don't think we'll be able to fund their gold policy. Is it better to have *any* open access?

I don't know if anyone has strong opinions, but curious. Our book isn't coming out of any major funding scheme beyond the funding I got for the event, so I have few options.

I am sure this has happened to MANY people, but it finally happened to me at an event I organised and I just feel so humiliated and embarrassed by it, that I'm not respectable enough to hold the room when I've been working on this project for MONTHS. And then was told I was disrespectful myself (by the same person) for refusing to be talked down to..
