Elizabeth's Trans-Atlantic Nightmare
Armchair psychologists, here's your chance to analyze the nightmare Eluzabeth had on the way back to Europe.
Can't wait to hear everyone's take on it; the Americans commentariat never disappoints!

I know that the character is just a kid trying to figure out why her family is so "different", but she really annoys me sometimes.
She kind of reminds me of Dana Brody in Homeland.
My husband and I are empty nesters and decided we wanted to get a "fun" little car to toodle around in. We decided on a Miata.
I want to get the standard option because we can both drive a stick so why spend a couple thousand dollars on an automatic. My husband says his shifting days are behind him and it's too much work (wtf?). Plus, I think sports cars SHOULD be standards.
I'm starting to think I'll just buy the damn thing myself because he's being ridiculous. What say y'all?

Here's a spin off from my prior question about the quality of the spoken Russian in the Americans.
I'm currently re-watching S2 E2 "Cardinal" and there's a good amount of Russian spoken in this episode. For you Russian speakers, how accurate are the written translations at the bottom of the screen?
Any of you with a Trinity ring; is it comfortable to wear, or does it start to feel bulky on your finger?
I bought a fairly large order, 11 items, because I wanted to try some new products and I don't have a Jones Road store anywhere near me.
I started an exchange and return for the items that didn't work for me and got the following message, "Your return or exchange consists of products that require additional attention."
Anyone ever gotten this message? I have no idea how I should proceed.
Thanks!
Hello! When I was 2-3 years old, we moved to North Miami Beach so my dad could learn to fly planes at Miami Dade College. I have such good memories of living there; and I wondered if anyone could tell me what our old neighborhood is like today? This was the early seventies so I'm sure it was very different from today.
We lived at 16040 NE 22st Avenue. I remember there were three huge oil storage tanks across the street, and we used to go holliver (?) beach on weekends.
Thanks for any info you can give me! ♥️
I decided I wanted to do something special for my two incredible daughters and I decided to buy them matching Panthère watches. My friend and I went to the McLean, Virginia location and I was a little nervous because I'd heard mixed reviews, but it was a great experience; It was more laid back than I would have imagined. My friend got into the spirit of things and decided to gift herself a Tank watch and a good time was had by all!
How is the quality of Russian spoken by the Soviet characters on The Americans? Could someone fluent in Russian tell if they are native speakers in real life?
*Can't be the series finale because I think that's almost everyone's favorite!
Is there any chance Paige could have lived a quiet life with the US government knowing that her parents were deep cover Soviet Spies?
Would she have questioned and released? Followed?
What about Henry?
Would Stan have the juice to protect them?
