I keep missing ocassional notes and I checked the hit window and saw this is this right currently my video latency is at 10 and I miss occasional notes but if I put down to 5 I miss even more notes I'm new to clone hero and not sure what to do?

Hi everyone, I recently came back to guitar with a new found inspiration of Eddie Van Halen and wanted to learn a soli of his and I decided I wanted to learn the Beat It solo and I saw that it requires a Trem but he uses a Floyd rose but I was wondering can I achieve same thing with a normal trem?
I use a Ibanez Gio which currently has 3 springs and Bridge is currently hard tailed but I know I can lift bridge as it has been before.
