Apparently I have a faulty A/C compressor and have to get it replaced. Any good recommendations on trusted shops so I can get a second opinion/estimate.

Just got back from vacation and my car A/C went out and it’s deadly.

Just repaid my last loan due today and just hoping for another bridge through August’s non-rent paycheck so I can get this issue fixed.

The amount of CM haters after every loss that come out of the woodwork is nonsensical. Especially because it’s always the same poor arguments. Just to go over the facts:

1. Every single roster decision, lineup, game move is a complete top down decision by the organization.

2. CM is a cog in the machine, not a schemer like Mike McDaniel (someone compared them which shows how much they don’t know our system.

3. If CM was fired the next manager would be making the same exact decisions as he is because of point 1.

4. The things that CM is here for is to put together a coaching staff and actually manage and develop the players which he is doing a great job.

5 (optional): The Brewers are the second best team in baseball, to get mad at the manager after losing an extra inning game to a better team makes no sense anyway.

I am heading to Mexico next week and I know I can use my Cash App debit card. However I usually keep it locked and I do know the app has some restrictions.

Does anyone know if I can lock and unlock my card while in Mexico?

I see a lot of talk about how Kamala Harris shouldn’t run for president in 2028. I am for than happy for her to run and I think people’s distaste is some leftover scarring from the 2024 election.

It is important to remember that this time we will have a primary election. If Kamala Harris were the nominee she would have to win a tough primary cycle, something that would have benefited her in 2024.

I also agree that it is an uphill battle for a woman to win the presidency but I think there were a lot of other factors in 2024 that were more pertinent than her being a woman.

This starts with Kamala not being the best candidate and someone who really doesn’t have a public definition. In a normal presidential cycle the candidate would have been tested throughout the year plus cycle, even if they weren’t defined by the public before, they would be defined as they moved through the cycle.

So you had a 100 day campaign, with an undefined candidate by the public, and her own lack of public appearances to do the work to inform the public on her actual views. This left Trump and the opposition pretty much a wide open gap to basically define her as Biden 2.0, a crazy left, or fill in the blank because she wasn’t doing it.

TLDR; The US is misogynistic but Kamala lost because 100 days is impossible to run for president, and she wasn’t great as defining herself as a candidate. This will be a completely different situation with a primary cycle this year.
