Hi everyone. I’m currently editing RoboCop 2 to bring its tone and continuity closer to the 1987 original.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on specific elements that contradict the first film—whether it’s blatant plot holes, shifts in character behaviour, or tonal inconsistencies.

Nearly every day, I spot something new mentioned here that changes my perspective, so any fresh angles or overlooked details would be incredibly helpful for the project.

I've started work on my fan edit of RoboCop 2, bringing it closer in line with RoboCop (1987)

Here is a WIP of when Cain's gang dismantles Murphy. In the theatrical version, there is no score here at all, which seemed like a waste to me. I'm using it as a parallel to when Murphy died, and it's like he's going through the ordeal again, and this will, in part, come into play on how and why he shakes off his new programming.

For me it's quite high. If I see 720p or Stereo it will heavily affect how much I will want to try it.

Depending on what the quality of the footage that is available original could change that.

This video gives an idea on:

-Editing, including the removal of comedy, poor shots and excessive exposition

-Color grade, high contrast and desaturated

-Batman's suit changed from blue to black

-Rescore, including Flash's new theme and Junkie XL's ZSJL Batfleck theme.

-SFX batmobile sounds sped up and applied to the bike sounds.

The first 10 minutes are also dropping on Sunday
