CEL Flashed and no acceleration...but fixed itself after 10 seconds. Can I drive it for a couple weeks?

I have a 2007 Camry with 235k miles. I am getting a new car by the end of the month so I just need my car to last a few more weeks. Not trying to put any money into it unless absolutely necessary.

I've had a CEL light on for 2 years with half a dozen EVAP codes, car drives fine. Been burning oil forever but I always keep it topped up.

Yesterday on the highway the CEL started flashing and I lost all acceleration. Started to pull over...but before I could the light went back to solid and engine returned to normal. I drove 3 hours yesterday and 2 hours today with no issues.

How stupid is it for me to drive the car for the next few weeks until I get my new one? My car is an old shitbox and I am not concerned with damaging it further, only avoiding breaking down for a few weeks. I am thinking it is likely a misfire and/or cat getting clogged?

Violent Crime Rate in New York State, by City (2025)

Graphic by me, created in excel. Data sources linked at the bottom. I created a similar graphic for 2024, I wanted to create an updated one for 2025 and improve upon it.

I highlighted Capital Region cities in a darker shade, and included some other reference points in gray. The cities are ordered by their violent crime rate in 2025.

Over the past few years the US had a historic decrease in crime, with the homicide rate reaching an all time low. You can see almost every entry here has a significant decrease in the year over year violent crime rate.

Troy and Saratoga Springs saw significant decreases this year, while Albany and Schenectady saw decreases in line with the national average. Albany has the highest violent crime rate of any municipality in New York.

Graphic by me - I created this using Excel, data is from the census bureau for each individual city or town. For example here is Albany: https://censusreporter.org/profiles/06000US3600101000-albany-city-albany-county-ny/

I used the municipal city/town boundaries, so for example Colonie here refers to the town of Colonie which includes the village of Colonie, Latham, Loudonville etc.

The Census Bureau uses what people self identity as for race. "Other" includes Native American, Pacific Islander, Mixed Race, and those who did not identify with any other category.

"Hispanic" includes those of any race, as you can identify as Hispanic and White, Hispanic and Black etc.

I did not include every small rural community, but if you're curious you can look it up using the link above.

Finally, I also included some overall county, state, and nationwide demographics at the bottom for reference.
