Don’t get mad at me for speaking Mandarin please

I got this Oxbow Glide 14ft Touring Board for a steal second hand six months back. Where I live on an outlying island in Hong Kong called Lamma, we get small waves in the summer months. Previously I used a 9’ surfing shape SUP, but that’s busted, so this summer I’ve been using the Oxbow to ride the waves.

It’s not built for surfing obviously, but it’s such a fine watercraft that with a bit of dedication, I’m able to make it work decently. I’m a wiry guy with no leg muscles, so I can’t manage much but the weakest of turns, but I’m having fun. Anyone else surf on a non-surfing shape?

I make Chinese-language synthesizer videos. I’m a non-native speaker, so I put my script into google translate as a quality test, to see if it’s understandable. I somehow got it to read the pinyin as if it were reading English words. Incredible result.

I did the harmonies for Generator a month or so back. There was a reverberating chorus that anyone could hear (okay, two maybe three people) asking for more. So here is Man With A Mission, the fifth track off of Recipe For Hate.
