I installed SteamOS on my main rig almost as soon as it was announced to support AMD based systems. The only annoyance I have aside from the lack of dual booting is the fact that it takes a lot longer to load. In fact, it seems to finally display halfway through the SteamOS splash screen? It does it pretty much every time. It's really fine but I'm curious as to what could be causing it.

5900X, 32GB DDR4, 970 Evo 2TB, 7900XTX, LG C1 OLED TV.

Any ideas?

I do it at least once or twice a day. More on Mondays or Tuesdays.

So I'm not the most careful person when it comes to grocery shopping and I'm no couponer but I was curious how bad my grocery bills were compared to you all. What do you pay on average weekly and how many people are you feeding in your household? I'm pretty sure I average $250ish for just 2 adults. I don't even think I'm being frugal nor extravagant just normal shopping. I haven't been shopping at Giant Eagle and using Upside to get some discounts.

Edit: What do you all do to save money? What do you buy and where. How do you prepare? How do you save money?

I just installed SteamOS on my mini PC that I used to use for my HTPC. I installed Factorio for kicks and it actually plays decently on the 4700u. But OMG does this game POP with colors with proper HDR handling. The TV always shows the autoHDR when I start a PC and given it's an OLED it should handle it very well. But when I was using Windows and playing Factorio it just looked fine. But playing on SteamOS on the same TV looks incredible!!! I don't know if it's a Windows vs Linux thing but I am currently just sitting on the main screen watching the game scenes in the background with awwww.
