Buying camping gear and not sure on what the safest option is for a 3 year old, should I just get a basic foam mat or an inflatable sleeping pad like the vango trek 3?
Also, kids sleeping bag or something like the picture?
Looking at a 3 man tent. Something with a large enough porch my Labrador will fit in, if she’s too hot inside the tent. It’ll be used for a mix of taking my dog and toddler camping and for just myself and dog wild camping. So it’ll need to be light enough so I can take it on reasonable length hikes.
I’ve been recommended the OEX Jackal 3 or the MSR Tindheim 3 if I was to spend more.
Is there any better option? Budget probably up to £350
Something for camping sites to begin with then onto more remote, something I can carry for an hour or two no bother. Been looking at the Berghaus Grampian 3. Just nothing too high end £££ for first tent but better than a homebargains special
