Need help with scope

Just got back into shooting in the hopes of getting out hunting this year (it's been close to 10 years)

Found out that my scope is set pretty far forward and I have to stretch my neck (or it feels like it at least) in order to get a good sight picture.

I know the scope is set as far back as possible on the mounting rail, but are there any options to get closer?

I forgot to get a good picture of just mine, but it's the one lying down in the picture.

Edit: I tried looking up ideas and options, but all I was getting was articles on how to mount a scope normally.

Just got back (for real)

Just got back on Overwatch for the first time in about a week. Been seeing all the posts about our boy being gone, taken out back and shot, etc.

Didn't realize he was 100% gone and not even in the career profile screen 🤣🤣

I guess I'm a Junkrat/Ana main now

Would this strategy work?

First off, I'm terrible at accounting, budgeting, finance, etc. As far as I'm concerned, I earn a paycheck, pay my bills and taxes, and hopefully have enough to go play around afterwards. Simple.

Due to events outside of my control, my family maxed two credit cards and had a couple other debts open up. We're now treading with water just below our nose.

Now, for my idea. I've been kicking about the idea of taking out a loan to pay off all or most of my debts (credits cards, small things to pay off, etc.) and then having just the one payment to make instead of 4.

Would this work? Or would this backfire in some outlandish way that only makes sense to someone who lives in an accountants spreadsheet?

First time back after a long break

Did they change something with his thorn --> blossom interaction?

I swear I used to be able to go from thorn to holding a blossom with a single click, but now it automatically shoots the blossom out no matter what I do.

Did they change something, and is it possible to change it back?

Trying to build a FOB kit

I remember seeing a video a while ago where someone had a full FOB ready to go in a pinecone chest.

They had all the materials tucked in there to build clay foundation, a petal bed, walls, roof, crafting, storage, and a dew collector. As well as probably some things I forgot

Does anyone have a good layout for a tiny base like that, or know what video I'm talking about?

I really struggle with proper building and wanted something that looks decent

T-Mobile left fiber optic sticking out of my yard.

If I “accidentally” hit it with my weed eater, can I get in trouble?

Question to solve an argument for DnD

Not sure if this is the best spot for this, but I gotta start somewhere.

I'm having an argument in a DnD game regarding how much iron someone would need to buy in order to make and sell weapons.

Would anyone be able to tell me:

 1. What form of iron would you buy in order to make bladed weapons as a primary product? I looked it up and saw trade bars, billets, ingots, etc and my brain started short circuiting.

 2. How many of whatever type you buy would be needed for form a short sword? For example, Sting from LoTR (assuming a full tang with leather wrapped handle)

Can't leave an ominent site???

I managed to get into the >!Glowing Fissure area underneath the red croquet mallet!<, and now I can't leave?

The only way out is to take the air tube, but that dumps me all the way near the >!War Torn Anthill.!<

Is there another way to get out??

Think this would be a cool place in-game

An old stump that was cut close to the ground. The inner pieces rotted away leaving a shell with a hole about 6-7 inches deep.

What do y'all think would be there? I was thinking termites, but any number of critters could believably live there

i'm scared

So I'm in a cave with a bunch of dead bugs and bug spray.

I go in, fill my inventory with free parts, and then try to leave.

I get to a different exit than the one I used to get in...I think it different anyway.

5 ants are fighting a wolf spider, and then the wolf spider aggros on me for no reason.

There is now a rogue wolf spider inside the tunnels...I can't move!

Canteen causing me to rubber band

Just got the game a couple days ago and I've noticed a slightly annoying bug (haha)

When moving at all, even on a buggy, if I try to drink from my canteen the game causes me to rubber band back to the spot where I activated it.

Anyone else seen this?

Just started G2

Just started the second game after not playing the first for a couple years.

Go the anthill for the first soldier any egg (no, I don't want to talk about dying 5 times XD)

Luckily, multiple deaths resulted in close to 100 red ant parts, so I have a full complement of red ant armor and weapons

Any tips or tricks I should know?

Shared World Feature

I haven't bought the game yet, but I heard G2 had the Shared World save feature (so the original host doesn't need to be online for other people to join)
However, I am also seeing a lot of reviews saying it broke, but they are all posted June/July 2025...

Has this been fixed? This is kind of the deciding factor behind whether or not I buy the game.

Edit: I play PC and would be using the Steam version

What "Day One" meal would you bring on a long trek?

Sorry if this isn't the best place for this question, but I figured y'all would have the best practical knowledge for this.

I'm writing a fantasy novel, and I want to give my MC provisions at least somewhat grounded in reality.

I'm already planning on giving him jerky, hard cheese, and a couple small loaves that are known to keep well; but I was wondering about stews/soups specifically.

What kind of beans would y'all take, if you were planning at least one "campfire stew?"

Like, you bring just enough for one pot of this stew, fully knowing you'll be stuck with cold rations afterwards (unless you hunt/forage)

I was thinking dried beans would be best, but I also know they need time to soak.

Any help would be appreciated, even if it's just pointing me to a more suitable subreddit!
