Fajita
Had leftover fajita stuff from the night before. Decided sandwich. Added a little pepper jack and mayo. Came together nicely

Anyone else throw on a fresh egg to jazz it up a bit?
If it looks a little suggestive, get your mind out of the gutter
Used a cast iron on the burner on the side on my outdoor Weber and threw on the steak with butter, rosemary, shallots and garlic. I always get nervous cooking hot and (relatively) fast, I was going for a bit more sear and maybe rarer inside, but it turned out nice.any other tips to get a better sear? (No mayo please lol)

Posted some pictures of my green Prep kitchen yesterday, here is the Main kitchen, with some before and after pics. I’ve tried to incorporate a bit more color through textiles and plants and such, any other suggestions on some color injections? Or maybe some textural elements?
Edit: added link to original post of the Prep Kitchen
I have an older home (40’s) with a tight-ish main kitchen, so I converted a small spare bedroom into a secondary/prep kitchen. It’s been many months of up and downs, but finally have something to show for it.
A couple before photos included. The orientation can be a little confusing in the pictures because the door, window, and some ceiling heights were moved/manipulated.
I had initial concerns with the paint choice, perhaps too limey, but it’s actually quite cheery and unique, however what do y’all think? Perhaps more color on the floating shelves or something?
Edit: follow up post here
