Data centers in extreme heat warnings
All running on diesel. Belching fumes into the air. They are all doing this. Craziness! Edit: ok this blew up. I wasn't saying the craziness was running the generators to keep the grid from failing. That is a necessity, as grid failure is not an option for 70% of the internet traffic globaly. The craziness was the extreme heat and the effects of all of these data centers switching to backup generators. It's necessary to keep reddit running. I haven't seen it to this extreme before, and I have been working in this environment for many years. Yes, these pictures are from where reddit is mainly hosted.
