Did you have to install your own composting toilet?
Or were you able to find a contractor to do it for you? Who would I call if such a service exists?

In general, too, but especially in pregnancy. I started my pregnancy with a BMI <40. Have since gained about 15lbs (third trimester, so not anything crazy), and now my BMI is over 43 and the doctors just will not stfu up about it. Like idk want they want me to do because I’ve spent most of the pregnancy sick (read as: not eating in excess) and being active when I can (still walking a few miles most days and working out most nights). So far it’s all belly/baby and boobs. No swelling or anything clinical going on. I just wish they’d lay off because it’s stressing me out and feels completely out of my control anyways. Anyone else go through similar? Heaviest I’ve ever been, so if you have experience on navigating with dignity, please share!
I was in PT for some abdominal weakness following an injury, and am considering a belly band or KT tape for added support in the third trimester. A little reluctant just because I’m uncomfortable but virtually anything touching me but wondering if anyone found one that was comfy/didn’t feel like an obvious brace.
This is always what I’ve been told, so we started looking at barndo plans in place of our custom stick (because wtf is this economy), and just got a quote for $260/sqft. Builder grade, simple plan, modest size (<2400). Already own the land, it’s cleared, and have well and septic on it. LCOL area. Is this what we should expect now or does something seem screwy?
My spouse and I eloped during Covid because, well, Covid. We never had a reception and never really felt otherwise celebrated. We’ve considered having a housewarming party in lieu of a reception when we move into our forever home just because it’s been years at this point since we got married and tbh I still feel a little like we missed out. Then TIL about happily ever after parties and now I’m wondering if that’s a reasonable option? Not sure which makes more sense. Open to polite opinions on celebrating a couple that got ripped off by a pandemic (and honestly just get our parade rained on a lot in life :’))
We’re in transient housing and my yarn, fabric, machines, and so on are just all over. I’m considering getting a cheap shed and storing what I can in totes in the shed. It would not be climate controlled.
Has anyone had luck doing something similar? Does this seem like a horrible idea? A lot of it is already in a non-climate controlled attic so it doesn’t feel that different than the current situation tbh.
