Alexa+ is worse than Siri. I’m going back to the original. Final straw was tonight, trying to set a one time smart home timer for 8:45.

First she asked me if I wanted 8:45 AM or PM. This was at 7 PM, and the original Alexa would have known I meant PM (the soonest option.

I answered 8:45 PM, and she proceeded to create an entire routine to do this at 8:45 PM every single night. Not what I wanted and not what I asked for.

Resto Druid here. Got a weird macro thing I'm looking for guidance on.

I'm using this macro below for Wild Growth mouseover casting, and it works, but some weird behavior I've noticed is that if I am targeting an enemy mob while casting WG on a party member, my WG cast on the party is interrupted when the enemy mob dies.

Is there anything I can change to keep the cast from being interrupted, or is that normal behavior overlap with targets and mouseovers?

I’m considering having a Tesla Universal installed at home. My current EV has a J1772/CCS port. Non-Tesla EV manufacturers seem to be trending towards NACS though, so I’m thinking a Tesla UC would be good long term-choice.

I know it basically has a small adapter built into it. Curious if anyone uses one on a regular basis without a NACS port. Any pros or cons feedback would be appreciated.

I’m planning a roadtrip in my Nissan Ariya and had questions about charging at Tesla stations that I’m hoping someone can help with.

1. Do I need both a CCS-NACS and a J1772-NACS adapter, or just a CCS adapter? There aren’t any Tesla charging stations compatible with Nissan I would need just a J1772 adapter for, right?

2. Anyone have adapter recommendations? Bonus points if you have an Ariya :)

I’m going on 15 years of experience in my field. I believe I have the people skills and high-level experience to make the jump from senior engineer to team manager.

I realize management roles are fewer and farther between than IC engineer roles. I’ve had a few recruiters approach me about opportunities, and even had a few interviews.

All of the feedback I got was that “they’re looking for someone with more management experience.“ no feedback on people or social skills, technical experience, or anything else. Just not enough prior management experience, which begs the age-old question - How do you get experience at something when all the jobs to gain that experience expect you to already have experience?

If you made this kind of jump in your career, how?
