I got tired of 3-minute stock music ruining short-form video edits, so I built an AI generator strictly for 15-30s loops

Hey everyone,

A few months ago I noticed a recurring problem among content creators and video editors: whenever they need background music for Reels, TikToks, or quick promos, standard stock sites offer 3-minute tracks with long intros, random bridges, or unpredictable structural shifts.

Trimming these manually in Premiere or CapCut takes way too much time.

So we built Hashvix AI—an audio generator focused specifically on generating high-energy 15s to 30s loop-ready stems (Phonk, Trap, Synthwave, Lo-Fi) with tight BPM and clean sub-bass that don't muddy up voiceovers.

We just launched a major pipeline update (using the ACE-Step model) and gave everyone 60 free credits on sign-up to test it out.

Would love to get your feedback on the audio quality and landing page conversion!

Short-form audio tip: Why 15-30s loopable background music works better for TikToks/Reels than full tracks

Hey creators!

Wanted to share a quick observation about audio workflow for short-form video content (Reels, Shorts, TikToks).

A lot of creators burn time scrolling through stock platforms, downloading 3-minute songs, and manually trimming them to find a clean 15-second loop that doesn't overwhelm the voiceover or sound messy when looped.

Here are a few things that made a massive difference in audio retention for short clips:

  1. Skip long intro builds: Short-form needs to hook viewers in the first 2 seconds. Intro builds kill viewer retention.
  2. Clean sub-bass frequency: Deep sub-bass keeps high energy without clashing with speech/voiceovers.
  3. Precise 15s/30s loop points: If your clip runs on a loop, seamless audio loops make videos feel 10x smoother.

We've actually been fine-tuning Hashvix AI specifically around this—generating quick 15–30s high-energy stems (Phonk, Trap, Synthwave) that fit straight into mobile/desktop editors without extra trimming.

Curious to know—what’s your current go-to strategy for background beats? Do you rely mostly on trending sounds or custom stock loops?

Pivoted our AI music tool after realizing "more features" was killing conversion — here's what the data showed

We started Hashvix as a general-purpose text-to-song generator — 3 engines, tons of options, trying to compete broadly.

Signup-to-active-user conversion was rough. When we dug into session recordings, the pattern was clear: most users opened the tool, got overwhelmed by the mode/engine choices, generated one mediocre result, and left. The people who did stick around were almost all doing the same narrow thing — short 15-30s loop-ready background tracks for video edits.

So we cut scope hard: instead of "generate any song," the product now leads with one specific job (clean loop-ready stems sized for short-form clips) and buries the rest as advanced options.

Early read: activation rate went up noticeably once we stopped asking new users to make a choice before they'd even seen a result.

Lesson I'd pass on: if your onboarding forces a decision before the user has felt any value, that decision is probably costing you more than the flexibility is worth. Happy to share more detail on the data if useful — and if anyone wants to poke at the tool itself, it's at hashvix.com.

Why 30-second Phonk & Trap loops work better for content creators than full 3-minute tracks

Hey everyone,

One big feedback we got from video editors and producers using audio tools is that most platforms generate long, unpredictable tracks full of weird structural shifts that don't fit short-form videos or background loops.

We shifted the focus of Hashvix to strictly produce high-energy, loop-ready stems and beats (Phonk, Trap, Synthwave) that creators can drop straight into their editor.

We just upgraded our generation pipeline using the ACE-Step model, which keeps the BPM tight and the sub-bass clean without muddy artifacts.

If you need fast background beats or vocal hooks for your content, feel free to test out Hashvix (you get 60 free credits on launch). Would love to hear your thoughts on the audio quality!

Built a web-based AI music generator to solve my own stock audio headaches. Here is what worked, what failed, and why I skipped the full DAW route.

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share a realistic breakdown of building and launching Hashvix AI, an audio-generation project I've been working on over the past few months.

The Problem I Tried to Solve:
As someone working with audio and video content, I kept running into two major issues with stock platforms:

  1. Licensing ambiguity when monetizing on YouTube or Spotify.
  2. Over-complexity when you just need a solid 30-second beat, a phonk/trap loop, or a melodic vocal hook without sitting in a full DAW for 3 hours.

What We Built:
Hashvix is designed strictly as a fast web studio. You type a text prompt, select a style, and get tracks, beats, and vocal lines in under 30 seconds with full commercial rights.

What Didn't Work (Lessons Learned):
• The "All-in-One" Trap: Initially, I tried adding too many edit controls into the browser UI. It bloated the loading speed and confused users. We had to strip it back to a clean waveform player and straightforward download options.
• Generation Speed vs. Audio Quality: Balancing rendering time under 30 seconds while keeping low-end bass frequencies clean was a major technical headache.

Feedback Request:
We just opened public access and are giving 60 free credits upon signup to gather honest feedback on generation speed and audio clarity.

If you're into audio tech or generative AI, I’d love to hear your thoughts on the output quality and UI! (You can search for Hashvix AI or check the link in my profile).

Thanks for reading!
