Im kinda over this game

Vent post

This game is kinda a joke. I never been more bored, more frustrated, and more blind in this game than any other, and I've played Tarkov and HLL.

It sells itself as a hyper realistic SWAT simulator, but it punishes you for playing like an actual SWAT team. For example: if a swat team encounters an armed suspect during a raid and they give commands to surrender, he's got like 10 seconds max before he gets ventilated. RoN is gonna have you yelling at that suspect for 20 or 30 seconds or more, and it punishes you if you give the lethal threat a lethal solution. Deploying less-lethal is inconsistent, and all too often you run into suspects that NEVER SURRENDER. Earlier today I hit a guy with tasers, flashbangs, and a stinger and he never surrendered. So there goes a perfect score.

The friendly AI are soooooooo poorly designed, too. I was playing Relapse today and two of my squad (one from red and one from blue) got stuck behind an open door and couldn't do anything about it for the rest of the game. The swat AI will dome a suspect when you're trying to get him to surrender but completely fail to land any shots when a suspect is firing at you.

Suspect and civilian AI are worse, though. From the moment the match starts, suspects have Xray vision and esp. You can't sneak up on them. They can see in the dark and through cover. On Carriers of the Vine, I got sprayed down through bushes that id never be able to see through by a suspect that could. On the subject of being blind, I HATE how they designed the damage effect. Oh, you're getting shot? Let's turn your screen red and make everything blurry so you can't see jack shit to return fire.

This game was a blast like 2 or 3 years ago when I last played, but when I picked up on it again this week, I didnt enjoy it at all. Each mission felt like a chore, and for the SLIGHTEST error or legitimate use of force the game fucks your score.

It's not realistic, it's just miserable, and for some reason the devs decided a miserable gamer experience was their goal.

In Monsters Inc. (2001), the monsters perspiration is repulsive to them, so they address it with deodorant scents such as Wet Dog and Smelly Garbage. This implies their sweat would taste delicious to humans.

In Pirates of the Caribbean (2003), Elizabeth asks Commodore Norrington to rescue Will as his wedding present to her. Later, she dumps Norrington for Will. Like really, Commodore? That request didn't raise any red flags?

In Antman (2015), a hammer is digitally added to a Glock 17 (a notoriously hammer-less weapon), instead of giving the entire cast Colt 1911s like God intended.

In The Thing (1982), the partially transformed Bennings-Thing emits a howl comprised of a sound from every creature the Thing had assimilated previously. I don't have a joke here, this scene is just terrifying.

(BEST TROPE IN EXISTENCE) Monkeys and bananas

Trope is simple: monkeys loving bananas. They're inseparable

Curious George: loves bananas

IRL: loves bananas

Bloons Tower Defense (the pinnacle of modern man's technological advancements): bananas are *currency*.

Bananas and monkeys are inseparable. Easily the best trope ever.
