What’s been more important in your marketing success: content, conversations, or consistency?

I’ve been spending the last several months learning online marketing while working a full-time job.

One thing that’s surprised me is that most of my results haven’t come from posting content.

They’ve come from engaging in conversations, commenting on other people’s posts, and consistently showing up every day.

It made me curious:

If you had to pick just one, what’s had the biggest impact on your marketing results?

• Better content?
• More conversations?
• Consistency?
• Something else entirely?

I’d love to hear what has actually worked in the real world.

What’s the best side income stream you started in the last year?

I’m curious what’s actually working for people right now.
Not looking for “get rich quick” ideas. More interested in things that can realistically be built alongside a full-time job, family, and everyday life.
For me, I started building online income streams earlier this year while still working my regular career. It’s been a learning curve, but I’ve met some great people and learned skills I never expected to learn.
What are you doing for extra income in 2026?
Freelancing?
Affiliate marketing?
Digital products?
Reselling?
Something else?
I’d love to hear what’s working (or not working) for others.

What’s the most unexpected benefit you’ve gotten from a side job?

When I first started looking into side jobs and online income opportunities, I was focused on one thing: earning extra money.

A few months in, I’ve realized the biggest benefit hasn’t been the income.

It’s been learning new skills, meeting different people, and feeling like I have more options than I did before.

I still work my regular job, and I’m still learning, but I’ve gained a new appreciation for having something outside of my primary career.

I’m curious:

For those of you who have side jobs, side businesses, or additional income streams, what’s been the most unexpected benefit you’ve experienced?

Was it the money, the flexibility, the skills, the confidence, or something else?

I’ve noticed more people are trying to create backup plans lately

It’s kind of wild how many people aren’t necessarily looking to become “rich”…

They just want breathing room.

Extra savings.
More flexibility.
Less panic when unexpected bills happen.
The ability to say yes to experiences with their family without stressing over money first.

That’s honestly what made me start paying attention to online skills, remote work, and different income streams in the first place.

Not because I wanted to become some flashy entrepreneur overnight…

I just realized a lot of people are quietly trying to build more options for themselves.

Curious what changed your mindset around money, work, or income lately?

I think a lot of founders are building businesses differently now

I’ve been noticing a shift lately where a lot of founders seem less obsessed with the “hustle at all costs” culture and more focused on:
flexibility
sustainability
ownership
remote leverage
building businesses that actually improve their quality of life

Not saying ambition disappeared — if anything, I think people still want big goals.

But I do think more founders are asking:
Can I build something successful without burning my entire life down in the process?”
A lot of the entrepreneurs I respect most right now are prioritizing:
✔ systems over chaos
✔ scalable skills
✔ strong communities
✔ multiple income streams
✔ location freedom
✔ businesses that can evolve with life/family priorities

Honestly curious if others here are seeing the same shift in founder culture or if I’m just in a different corner of the internet lately.

You can outgrow a version of yourself without hating who you used to be

One thing I’ve been realizing lately is that growth does not always look loud.
Sometimes it simply looks like:
wanting more peace
protecting your energy more
becoming more intentional with your time
realizing survival mode is not where you want to stay forever
I used to think wanting “more” automatically meant being ungrateful.
Now I think sometimes it just means you’re finally being honest with yourself about the life you actually want.
Not necessarily a perfect life.
Just one with more freedom, flexibility, purpose, and breathing room.
I think a lot of people quietly feel this shift before they ever talk about it out loud.

I started learning online skills for flexibility… now I understand why so many people are doing it

Honestly, I used to think online income was mostly scams or influencers exaggerating until I started slowly learning more about remote work, online skills, and different income streams myself.

I’m still learning as I go, but it’s opened my eyes to how many people are quietly trying to create more flexibility, stability, and options for their future.

Curious what online skill or side hustle has actually been worth learning for you?
