Went to a gas station today to get a root beer and a pack of cigarettes? I’m a girl wearing a skirt and a black tank top. It is 97° outside and I was in line and was told that I’m not allowed to buy anything with a tank top. I said OK I’m traveling, I did not know that and apologized and left the store. My Friend was still in the store when I left and heard the woman say why would she even wear that she looks like a man so My Friend put his stuff back and left to another store. I’m wondering if this is legally OK. Again, I look decent and i am in respectable clothing and I just have never heard of such a thing.
