costs are a huge barrier to beginners starting cycling, so here are my best tips to start without breaking the bank!

i moved to slovenia this year & started cycling. i live near Kranj/Šenčur, and was wondering if anyone would like to join me for a ride whenever? or knows of a group? especially now it’s getting colder i need the motivation to get out.
i’ve only been cycling for 2 months, my av power is around 50-70W, av speed is 20-25km/h, and my longest ride was 70km, so maybe someone with similar fitness to me :)
as i’m also learning slovenian, maybe you could help me practice?

Hello! I recently moved from the UK to Slovenia, and was wondering if anyone on here knows what sells well on Vinted in Slovenia/Mainland Europe?

I used to sell regularly in the UK, so I know what sells well there & the kind of market it is, but have never experienced the European market before. Thank you :D

EDIT: Not even for reselling purposes - my boyfriend has about 10 years of clothes, all different brands, styles etc piled up that he just doesn’t wear, so I tasked myself with trying to sell them

got my first ever road bike about 2 weeks ago, stuck with the regular flat pedals just to get used to the feel of the bike, gears, etc. really comfortable on the bike now and decided today would be the day i would change over to clipless pedals. went outside this morning to practice - practiced just clipping in and out while stationary, then once i was used to that, i clipped only one foot in and started to pedal. i got literally about 10 metres and fell straight onto the side i was clipped in. my ankle is now completely swollen and i can’t put any weight on it. i was expecting to fall, everyone does, but now im just really put off or scared to try it again because of the amount of pain it has caused. i know practice will make perfect, but does anyone have any tips on how i could improve, or just feel more confident

i am a complete beginner and want to get into road cycling. i am based in Slovenia and 167cm. decathlon seem to be the place with the best value for money for beginners - i dont really want to spend more than €1000. are they actually good?

I am considering the Triban 120 or the Van Rysel Claris EDR AF. have been told to avoid rim brakes.

I have looked at a second hand Triban gravel bike - they are asking for about €200 more than I can buy one brand new, but comes with gravel & road tyres.

I recently moved to Slovenia (Kranj) from England and looking for somewhere to play padel. I am a bit of a beginner but would like to improve. Are there any padel clubs in Kranj that I could maybe join? Hvala :D

Hello! I’m looking for a server to be fairly active in.

I really like the idea of being in a town, which has other active players in, with maybe something like a shopping district/trading as well.

No anarchy, PVP, loads of mods - mostly vanilla with a few exceptions (like player warps etc).
