Navaratri Begins...

Navaratri! Celebration of womanhood. Ever since my hard challenging times, one thing that makes me alive is celebrations. I always feel myself so fortunate to be born in this beautiful land.

I have no back round in celebrating navaratri. But after listening to Sadhguru on Indian festivals, i came to know the importance of these festivals in ones life. They are not just festivals. They have huge connection with our lives. One simple aspect is tracking Amavasya & Pournami.

I have noticed, almost all pournamis have become a celebration of my victory. They may be small, tiny or not worth mentioning things. but it is. And amavasyas are like, unwanted things will get dismantled from my life. So i become super curious about our festivals and whatever explanation is given for that celebration i just sink myself into it. And nowadays i feel like i am very much sync with them.

Yesterday was one like that. Today navaratri. Yesterday, simply i went out to buy dolls for Kolu setup. Did i have money? not really. But simply i went. There were plenty of attractive dolls in Gandhipuram Sarvodhaya. I looked around and felt like, on one concept i will take. The dolls were little expensive. Being in Isha, i have many Shiva, linga, nandi, trishul etc., but not Lakshmis. So i chose Ashta laksmi this year. Comparatively they are cheap and beautiful. I was super excited. This evening i am going to start the celebration.

By the way Ashta lakshmi are Adi or Maha lakshmi, Dhanalakshmi, Dhanyalakshmi, Veeralakshmi, Vijayalakshmi, Santhanalakshmi, Gajalakshmi & Vidhyalaksmi.

Have you arranged your Kolu steps at home?

Anything you do joyful is effortless

Namaskaram. In my life, the most precious moments I always cherish are raising my daughter without any external influences, even from my husband. That was a time when I and my daughter were left all alone in my family. Other family members are wondering what to do next.

I boldly took the decision to shift to Coimbatore. Taking support from Isha, I started raising her alone. My husband visited us often and supported financially. But this life was very new to us. But I took full advantage of it. Yes, whenever she gets holidays, we do program in the same days. When she did Nature awareness program, I did hata yoga program (yogasanas now).

Whenever she gets time, she will accompany me in volunteering. If there is any shortage of participants for a program, I will send her in to attend the program. She did the uyirnokkam program on her birthday.

I took her to Ashram stay during festival times. Most of the celebrations we participated in only in the Ashram.

It would be appropriate to say that we grew together in Isha rather than I raised her.

Gandhi jayanthi [Tamilnadu]

Yesterday Gandhi jayanthi. Our Tamilnadu CM requested citizens to celebrate Gandhi jayanthi, participate in Gramasabha. I wanted to celebrate it too. But i am not familiar with Gramasabha. There was one photo walk and cycling to celebrate oct2nd. i tried to participate but couldn't.

Then i found a simple way. Gandhipuram Sarvodhaya sangh. Yes, from childhood onwards, buying things in Khadi sarvodhaya is my favorite shopping experience. Over period of time it has become a ritual. When other shops are working hard to feed the economic engine, their each action will be ipurely commercial. But in Sarvodhaya ambience is clean, silent, sales people will talk only if there is a need, traditional and exclusive products, and most importantly if you are a regular customer you will become one among them over period of time.

So yesterday i participated in their morning special Bhajan. "Raghupathy ragava rajaram..." It was good. And after the Bhajan, they called me to offer flowers for Mahatma. I felt so happy and emotional. Then i thought of buying a cotton saree on this special occasion. The sales manager guided me to the silk section as there is a sale going on. For one cotton saree price, i bought 2 printed silk sarees. Hapiness doubled.

By the way, Coimbatore capital is GANDHIPURAM. After Gujarat, i think we have capital city in his name.

Pranam Mahatma!!

do you have Gandhi jayanthi celebration story?

Whatever life throws at you, if you learn to shake it off and stand on it, you can make it a basis of your growth, maturity, and wellbeing

My life's approach always been like this. If i find anyone in my life, is smart and good enough, then i will lookup to him/her and i will start encouraging them, believing that they will do the same for me. I will do selfless things to people i love. But you cannot expect the same from them. So i got a major heartbreak which followed by little heartbreaks followed by tiny heartbreaks. But a wonderful thing about all these heartbreaks is, they led to a light house filled with lights. Yes!!! SADHGURU.....

Now, all these nonsense that are being thrown at me, have created some other world for me, that i have never imagined possible. Am i living in a hell? Yes, you can say that. But holding my master in one hand, walking in a hell is possible. This is good. yes, in a way i started liking it and now loving it.....

Life is a mystery

Namaskaram. Like a Nandhi, I was waiting for someone I love to be on the track. But I don't want to waste my life either. So keep waiting, I engaged myself in other areas without expecting anything.

Because whom I love should return and give me all that I need. In my ideology, I don't have the right to expect the same from others.

But life is giving its gift of abundance , which I didn't value because of my ignorance.

I am having what I need. But I don't have what I want.🥺

Have you experienced something similar???🤔

Focus in life

This question has been very important in my life for a few years , "Am I doing what I really care for?"

By asking every now and then, it shapes my focus. And I can ignore noises, even if they are from my own family. Also, I am able to finish some loose ends as soon as possible to continue my work.

It helps to improve my quality of work. I can plan better. 🙏🏼

A relief

Sadhguru says, "Do not control your mind, release it."

Because of moral studies and the efforts to become a "good person," I ignored small pricks from society and the closed circle. This attitude piled up a lot of disturbances in my mind and in turn in my life. When I started paying attention to my disturbed feeling, I started taking action. Now, I am able to feel the relief.

Without Sadhguru, I don't have the courage or sense to see the disturbances. I would have casually ignored those pricks in my mind. And would have lived with the pain. Paying attention to every detail matters.

Pranam Sadhguru, thanks for making this idiot into a little more sensible person 🙏

Education needs inspiration, not just information. Only inspired human beings can transform their own lives and the lives around them.- Sadhguru

Namaskaram. This is very true in every field. At work, at home, in administration, in the government, and everywhere, we can see.

If a person is doing a job, he will do only how he knows the job. But an inspired human being will do the job, how it is needed in the given time, and the situation and the people around him.

To do what is needed takes lots of responsibility, knowing the depth of the work, experience, and most importantly, love.

I would like to mention that recently I visited hoysala temples in karnataka, Our expert explained that before sculpting, the sculptors should know Shipashastra. They undergo Bhramhacharya for a few years and practice yoga. And now, sculpting is not a work. It's out pouring divinity from them.

So that they can attain this level of Mastery over the art and architecture

So education should not be just passing information. 🙏

Save Soil 100days that moved the world

Namaskaram. Recently, I bought this book from Amazon. Even though we traveled with Sadhguru on those days. This book gives the feel of traveling very close to the team. Thank you, Radhe Akka. I just started reading the book.

Tell me, what do you feel about reading this book.
