Who said CnD doesn’t work in higher ranks? Very proud of my performance here. I would welcome anyone to watch the replay and give feedback and comments. Was I perfect here? No, but I personally feel like this was legendary.

I had more than double my other healer’s healing. And my 18-11 tank continuously got melted. I asked my other healer to stay closer to me and not push up so much. I assured them that I would heal them. They still died a lot though.

My Hela kept yelling at me to shut up. (I had told her to stay with me when we were retreating after we lost a fight.) And I told her “You’re welcome for good comms.” She ended up dying bc she didn’t walk with me. She walked in the opposite direction.

No, you don’t get these kinds of healing numbers “from playing CnD.” Or “ well you had that much healing because you’re playing CnD.” No. You get these healing numbers from having good positioning, good comms, good ult timings, and good ability cycle usage.

This evening I got revenge on two of the enemy teammates in the best way possible. Two games prior to this one, I played as Invis. My other healer died despite me trying to keep them alive. Then, Angela chased me around the point trying to kill me. During this, I tried to heal our two tanks who were on the point.

Mind you, I was trying to stay alive to heal my tanks on the point. They kept jumping around. One of the tanks made fun of my aim.

So I responded to tell him who was chasing me. He didn’t let me talk. He was rude to me for the entire rest of the game.

So when I had the chance to play against him, I banned his Cap. (His Cap got MVP when we played together.) He saw that and banned my Invis. So I decided to play a “no skill” character.

And this is what happened at the end of Round 1, 1st point….

Fun fact: this is my 12th Scarlet 6K in comp. 2 in Celestial. 3 in Diamond-something. And SEVEN in GM3-GM1 :)

Note: I intentionally waited several second after the portal opened to begin my ult. Players are aware that Wanda’s do this. So if you can wait several seconds after the portal opens, the hope is that the enemy team is distracted by whatever is going on on the point, and they won’t realize a tiny “!” Is popping up on the other side of the map.

These patch notes are from season 5. S5 was the first time they changed her dmg fall off. Originally, she was doing 60% of her dmg at 30m and beyond. This changed in S5. Then, in S8.0 her base dmg got increased. And now, in S8.5, she will do 65% of her dmg at max falloff.

What I’m trying to say is that she is doing more dmg at max range than she originally did. So maybe the S8.5 nerfs aren’t that bad? Thoughts?

Can anyone watch the replay and tell me if I did something wrong? Did I make a wrong play at times?

My ranked philosophy context: prioritized keeping myself and other healer alive. If it becomes clear that I cannot keep my other strategist alive then I reposition to save myself.

I personally felt like this was a legendary game from me. I have less than half of everyone else’s deaths and an insane amount of heals.

Also, this may have been GM1 I don’t remember fs

It’s just frustrating that we lost.

And, contrary to what you may assume, I believe I had about 2 terror capes landed per light veil landed.

Did I slay here?

I cannot believe this happened to me. As you can see, I only played healer this season. I am particularly proud of my healing avg/10 min on Cloak: 28k and Luna: 30k. Me on console.

I have learned many, many things along the way and I am happy to share some of the most surprising things I’ve learned through playing up to Eternity. There are some surprising, and non surprising things I have learned.

I keep accidentally defeating the boss while I am damaging the hot pot. What do I do? Has anyone else had this issue?

Just have to vent. I did 13k healing through my ult’s. So no, my healing ults did not make up for the massive difference in healing.

Also, I didn’t heal hot. I had like 15 more terror capes than light veils.

The other healer played fox and gambit. I just can’t.

Ik this is a stupid question. But I haven’t directly found the answer anywhere.
