In building my first docker container media server, i found that i prefer usenet over torrents, but, usenet really fails in one area; audiobooks (which I love). So, i decided i would have usenet for anything other than audiobooks and then qBittorrent would work via gluetun.

I got it to work with a few exceptions. First, my services outside the vpn cant connect to qbit now. I guess they cant see it.

Second issue is that something about gluetun is interfering with the assigned ports on some of the services and not allowing those pages to open.

Any thoughts on how to address those? Sorry im not really savvy on networking so i cant think of what to do. Is it just not possible to use gluetun for only some services this way? Appreciate any help.

New to SAB but i have been reading forums about this. I am running a docker container, no vpn. Arr services get refused during test and my indexer (nzbplanet) looks like it is also being refused.

Port fowarding correct, standard 8080

Whitelist Hostname and SABnzbd

Local ranges (myself) , 172.17.0.0/24 , 172.16.0.0/12

Arrs use SSL

No password/username

This is pretty frustrating... if anyone can help id really appreciate it. It bet its some simple setting im missing.

Edit: SOLVED!!! The Arr's in this case required the Local IPv4 from the Status Page of SAB and SSL off. Once i did that the connection worked. Also using the container name works (in my case sabnzbd) in that field.

Who are advertisers targeting and what makes bots and LLM spam so valuable if at the other end you are only recieving audience is bots. This cant last forever, because, maybe the generation of people before facebook dont know about bot traffic, but the current generation of users do and reddit (and any other SM) likely could be abandoned in the future.

Hello, I am not an IR student, but I am interested in IR topics. I have been reading Apple in China (about half way through now) and I am fascinated by the premise: Apple's growth by investment in China for manufacturing of their products was the springboard for the rise of China as a technology and labor powerhouse. The book highlights many cultural misunderatandings between Apple's early business practices and the way business is done in China. This ultimately creates a national security issue of tech transfer from the US to China.

Have you read it? If so what are your thoughts on this premise? If you havent I would highly recommend it! It seems well researched into all of the lives of the contributing individuals.

Hello i am at the step to link POV to torbox by going to Settings: MyServices. The torbox selection just gives me a QR code and pin. Once I enter those, the continue button does nothing. How do I get this part to work?

Hello, my first home streaming box attempt was built around a pi5. I realize now that maybe it wasnt the best choice but Im in too deep to switch to something else.

I think my setup is too tough to work with and it goes like this:

Boot to Pi desktop and navigate by mouse-remote.

Local 2tb hd stores some of my favorites and I play them on the Kodi app.

I cant download everything locally, so, for those one time watches like movies, sports, and documentaries, I use Stremio Web with Torbox.

I find new shows by looking through JustWatch on the web browser.

The problem with stremio/torbox is that the Pi is limited in codecs that it can play (and also firefox as a browser). So my selection gets limited by that.

I want a better workflow but im not sure if the Pi can do anything better than that?

Im looking to build my own SFF PC soon but I am interested in resources for planning. For experienced builders, where did you learn thermal management strategies? Is there any books or resources on fan placement or liquid cooling that you could recommend? What gives you confidence in your build without burning anything up?

Hello i dont know if i am in the right place, but i am making my own energy drink. I have a total amount of caffeine i will be adding to a total mixture of water, sugar, and other flavors. I want to calculate the single drink caffeine content at the end.

Would that be just a standard linear relationship? For example, if I had 2.5g of caffeine in 1 litre of the syrup and i use 1oz (0.03ish litres) in the end product drink, would I now have (2.5g/litre * 0.03 litre) 0.075g of caffeine in my drink?
