Question about getting settled to the sunset

I am 23M and work as a data scientist downtown and currently live in the central sunset (around 26th and Lawton) and was wondering what are some things I can do to get acclimated to the sunset? I decided to move there for cheaper rent but want to be active during the day.

I know I have the N-Judah and the 7 bus to take me downtown but for those who felt lonely how did you all find your people in the city despite being far away for most of the action? I love the Mission, North Beach, and Hayes Valley (Mission and HV are right by my work).

Besides Dumpling Home in Hayes Valley, what are Some Great Dumpling Places to Try?

I had Dumpling Home with friends yesterday and we were blown away by both the quality of service and food. I wanted to know if there are any other great dumpling places in the city?

Kie’s Parents are not Villans

They are the only normal people in that entire show.

The show suspends disbelief in a lot of ways with geography, the police, and international laws. However, they really are making her parents out to be villains.

Imagine you work so hard to build a successful life, give your daughter good schooling, and put her on a path to college. Instead of being grateful, your daughter is constantly thrusted into life or death scenarios, goes missing for months at a time, totals your vehicles, commits felonies with juvenile delinquents, and wants to go across international borders to hunt for treasure. If that was my kid, I’d be horrified too.

I know the wilderness camp is a very morally grey thing to do, but they had the right to be scared. They know the police won’t stop her from doing any of the insane stuff shes doing so they used the last resort many parents go to.

I drank a lot in college and while I have cut it back (am on a short break to let my body heal) due to lingering LPR that won’t go away, I don’t wanna quit outright. I’m young so I’m wondering for those with heartburn, GERD, LPR, and other issues, which alcohol for you caused the least discomfort?
