Rune "Dude when’s a DD gonna get here ? It’s been hours !"
Mackenzie "Just calm down Rune, we can’t just rush this"
Mackenzie and Rune have spent several hours hidden on top of a tree. They have set up a trap, which they want to use to trap a DD. Their motives are unclear, but Rune is noticeably bored. His sister has always been better at being calm and patient than him, though she loves doing all sorts of shenanigans with her twin
That is when Oman appeared, lost in his thoughts while gazing at the wildlife. When he arrives on the twins’ designated spot, Mackenzie activates the trap, and a rope tightens around the DD’s left leg, hanging him upside down
O "I want to know what’s going on here"
Suddenly, the two Workers land in front of him, seeming proud of their catch
M to R "Told you one would arrive ! Does he want to eat us ?"
R "I mean he doesn’t look friendly"
O "What are you two on about ?
R "Don’t play stupid ! Tell us if you want to eat us now !"
O "What is y-"
M "Don’t ask questions and answer us."
O "sigh I don’t even want to eat the two of you."
Rune points a knife at Oman’s chest "Can you prove it ?"
O already annoyed "First of all" deploying his wings and claws in one hand, he cuts the rope and lands behind the twins "You used a pretty weak material to a DD’s arsenal. Secondly if i wanted to eat you I’d have done that way sooner."
Oman tries to leave without telling them goodbye, but Mackenzie grabs his arm
M "So you’re not going to eat us ?"
O looking pissed "Do I look like I want to ?"
R "Fair enough. You seem to like wandering around, you could probably help us find our family and get used to the place ? We have nobody right now except each other…"
O "Just go to the bunker, that would be a good start."
He tries to leave again, but they give him the sad puppy look, which leads him to hesitate
O "You got me hanging upside down ! Stop that !"
They don’t
Oman facepalms "Fine… I will guide you…"
Screaming in joy, the twins rush to Oman and hug him as if nothing happened
O "Oh you dunknuts…" He seems tired and annoyed
A while later, they can be seen in the city, Oman leading the way and showing his "friends" the different facilities there

As soon as they stop, the portal shuts down, leaving them to wonder where they are, with no way back
Rune ((2nd pic)) "Any ideas where we are now Mackie ?"
Mackenzie ((1st pic)) "Nope… it’s pretty unfamiliar. At least those murder drones didn’t follow us."
Rune "True, but how do we get home now ?"
Mackenzie "… that portal was too good to be true…"

After rolling on the ground, the body doesn’t move. There is still a heavy smell of smoke in the air close to him. The body isn’t only covered in soot, but the boy looks suffering while unconscious. It would be better to get him to a hospital as soon as possible
Thad has found a comfy room for himself in the bunker. And yet, he still has a lot of unanswered questions, all regarding that mysterious Thad who apparently planned on slaughtering all disassembly drones and drones infected with the Solver. What shocked him the most about it all is that V, one of the people he looks after the most, wasn’t safe from this madness.
To stop thinking about such dire things, the jock decided to empty his bag. From it, he pulls a picture of him with Uzi, N, Lizzy and V, his skateboard, a football…
But to his surprise, he finds a baseball he doesn’t remember having put in there
"Huh ?!" Thad quickly pulls out everything still laying in his bag: a basketball, hockey material, a literal shotgun even ! He grows visibly more confused until he grabs the last object, another picture.
This small picture was enough to make his hands tremble, then his entire body. His eyes twitch, his breath difficult
In a violent and noisy smash, Thad falls on his knees, strange memories rapidly flowing inside of his head, leading him to have a sudden panic attack from all these revelations
