Really? We're worried about these guys?

Pixel Remaster Steam version, first off. Long story short, I didn't know when to wait for Shadow, didn't wait for Shadow, and got upset at myself so I restarted the game so I COULD wait for Shadow. That all being said, I'm back to Sabin's scenario with Kefka. I'm watching the imperial troops "siege" Doma castle and, like.... really? Have y'all taken the time to watch these animations? Half these guys are punching walls, falling down, and just, like... jumping half a foot? It's almost comical the reaction the Doma guards have. "MY LIEGE!! THE IMPERIAL FORCES HAVE ARRIVED! THEY'RE AT THE WALL AND INVADING IN FULL FORCE!!!" Meanwhile their animations make them look like incapable hamsters.

IDK, it got a chuckle out of me. Good game so far tho lol.

So I was playing Final Fantasy V and...

I finally reached a place called Phantom Village, and the town's theme started playing.... does anyone else think it's eerily similar to a track that plays when everyone's favorite one-winged angel appears?

ETA: SPECIFICALLY in the first 8 notes that plays

I'm Excited

After playing FF7 Remake and Rebirth (And Crisis Core: Reunion) I made the decision to play the steam port of the original. Just finished disc 3 and the cinematic. After the ending sequence, I really can't wait to see what they're gonna make it look like in the last part of the newer series. I kinda wish the optional characters had a part to play in the ending cinematic, but I understand why they weren't included (I mean, they're optional, right?). Still, can cannot wait to see how modern graphics will do this justice. Not only in the ending sequence, mind you, but there were so many parts post-disc-1 (where I believe Rebirth ended) that I am curious to see how they handle given the divergences. Overall this has been a great experience and I wish I didn't have to wait until next year to see where it goes lol

Probably a Stupid Question

I've been making my way through the OG FF7 ever since I spent so much time in Remake and Rebirth. I just got to The Scene in the forgotten capital, and it said it was the end of part/disc one. I also know that said scene is where Rebirth ends, more or less. I also know that there are 3 parts/discs in the OG FF7. I ALSO know that the remakes take their sweet time with each story chapter. So I guess my question is how the heck is Revelation going to fit 2/3rds of the game into one title? There is so much story here than I thought it's almost comical

ETA: Thanks to all y'all responding. I haven't played the OG till now, so I had no clue that the discs weren't evenly split. Gives a lot of perspective, and I appreciate y'all.

TIL that the less debuffs you have in the battle square the less BP you get

And the reason I noticed just how bad it is was due to insane "luck". I got 4 Lucky 7's and 3 Cures in the slots and only made out with 35 battle points lol. IDK if it was mentioned before in the tutorials or something because I took a break from the battle square, but I thought I was SOOOOO lucky to not suffer a single debuff... only to get, like, nothing from it lol.

What Foo Fighter Song Is This Melody Reminding Me Of?

Timestamped (I think) But when he sings "Hey, I don't work here" I have an itch in the back of my brain that goes 'Oh hey, this sounds like a Foo Fighters melody' but for the absolute life of me I am having the HARDEST time putting my finger on it. After listening to it, can someone with a better ear than me validate and help me find what song that it is that spurs my hippocampus?

Help With Queen's Blood Deck?

Hey, all. I'm pretty new to the franchise, so if this seems belabored or dumb, I apologize. I'm trying to take my Queen's Blood deck to the next level. This deck was enough for me to make it through easy without the survival challenges, but man is it lacking in post game. I can't pin a particular problem, because I'm not much of a strategist. I was hoping to get some advice from y'all on how to make it better. Before I give my deck specs, my strategy is basically "territory grab". I try to get as many pegs on the floor to limit my opponent's spacing options and then pressure my opponent from there. I admit, I had to restart a few times on easy mode to get lucky (and a lot during the last few matches..... like...... a lot). Here's the deck list:
-Cactaur x2
-Crystalline Crab x2
-Spearhawk x1
-Heatseeker x2
-Chocobo & Moogle x1
-Space Ranger x1
-Joker x1
-Titan x1
-Emerald Witch x1
-Fat Chocobo x1
-Griffon x1
- Gi Spectre x1

Again I am not an expert at this game, but I suspect that those who are can get a feel for how I play (maybe?). Any advice for this deck? I've basically been surviving on luck for my post game.
