Hey guys, which one do you think would give me a better stereo experience - two separate Charges or 1 of the two models I mentioned in the title?
I noticed a fundamental difference in how I listen depending on which service I use.
Spotify pushes personalised mixes, vibes and playlists made specifically for you. Albums are not a priority. You can clearly see that by looking at their home page.
I feel like Apple Music is way more album-oriented than Spotify. Instead of infinite and very specific mixes, I listen to particular works from artists I already like or discover something entirely new.
To me, this kind of listening is a wholly different experience. It is more intentional and deliberate. Apple’s approach, as I said in the title, makes me appreciate the album as a collection of music way, way more.
It is also worth to separate passive and active listening. I don’t listen to albums while I’m working, doing something or whatever. In that case I usually put on a mix. Active listening is where the actual difference lives. With Spotify I used to prefer mixes, vibes and playlists to albums even when I had the opportunity to lay or sit down, immerse myself and just let myself get lost in the sound. I think this is the important distinction - Spotify makes me want to listen to mixes during both active and passive listening, whereas Apple Music makes me swing towards albums during actual active and immersed listening sessions.
I would like to know your point of view. Do you also feel like Apple Music made you more of an album listener?
This button allows you to select several songs at once to move them elsewhere in the queue or delete them entirely. It’s a solution to the fact that you have to drag or delete each song manually.
As the image says, this setting syncs your queue across all devices signed into your Apple Music account (Apple Account). You can pause a song played from a playlist on an iPhone and then pick it right up from where you left on your Mac.
Accessed through the AirPlay menu, this setting allows you to remotely manage the playback of any device signed into your Apple Account with any other device signed into your Apple Account. For example, when you play a game on your XBOX and use the XBOX Apple Music app at the same time, you can use your iPhone as a remote for the XBOX Apple Music app.
Excuse the rough execution, that was just a quick idea I had in my head. Pic 1 is the original, Pic 2 is my version. I am using an iPhone 14 Pro.

Y’all remember how Apple said they would release the Music Haptics API to developers? That was in 2024 when iOS 18 was being released. Has Spotify ever considered actually incorporating that API in their app and if not, has Apple actually shared it with developers like they said they would?

I took a recording of my headphone output with my iPhone (i know, not ideal) but i think it should get the job done. This sounds like about 5-10 songs playing together at full volume. The only one I could somewhat make out seemed to be Madonna’s Vogue.
Is this what Spotify sounds like in hell?
Or is it the infamous Evil Spotify?
I’m currently not interested in any man.
