I want to go pescatarian, but I feel like there is so much stopping me/ getting in the way. I can't have shellfish. My roommate is deathly allergic to soy. I'm a broke college student in-between jobs and the only food on campus that isn't going to give me food poisoning is Chick-fil-A.

I've been blessed by an unknown deity

Recently I've been going through some struggles and praying to any deity who will listen. Yesterday my prayers were answered by a deity who has yet to reveal themselves to me. Does anyone have some advice for finding out who it was so that I may thank and worship them properly.

For some context I'm a baby witch and I'm still looking for a deity/Pantheon to work with.

Which of the gods would be best to ask for help with this?

My college is making a major cut on all their scholarships. For years our chancellor has been taking money from the scholarship funds and saying we don't have enough in the budget to give more aid. This man makes over $900,000 a year and is stealing money from the students who really need it and now they've cut like 75% of the fund. These officials need to face consequences and these students should get what was stolen from them returned and I know that is completely out of my hands.

What gods would be best to reach out to for help with this?

Anubis

I am just starting out and I've been told Anubis is a good place to start as he has a habit of introducing people to the rest of the gods and I have a fascination for the mummification practice.

I would like advice on things for his altar and if there is anything I need to include in prayers to him? I included a picture of the altar I currently have set up. It has to be discreet as I am currently staying at my very Christian parents' house for the summer.

I am also considering pursuing Osiris but am unsure if I should wait or not.

Where to start?

I am new to paganism and I'm considering converting to kemeticism, but I'm not sure where to start. For some background I was raised southern baptist but I've always had a fascination for other religions and beliefs. Ever since I was little I have felt drawn towards Egyptian mythology, more specifically mummification. Mummification is something that has always fascinated me. Even when I was little I wanted to go through the whole process of mummifying someone and eventually be mummified myself.

Now that I'm older I wonder if my fascination with Egyptian mythology and death practices are linked to the fact I was born December 27, which depending on the calendar you use is the first demon day and Osiris's birthday.

I really want to learn more about kemeticism and see if it's right for me, but I have no clue where to start.
