I’m so happy today my uncle gave me his broken CECHC04 PS3 fat in piano black. I seriously never cared about PS3’s until this moment. He gave it to me opened up, and the reason why is because it has an effed power supply, I hope it’s the power supply, because I’m planning to fix it. And I hope when I fix it I don’t find a YLOD because that will be sad. Anyways it’s beautiful and is backward compatible with PS2 and PS1 games. It’s beautiful and I hope I find a power supply. Could you please give me some tips and suggestions to not only find a power supply and also how to jailbreak it AND fix a YLOD if it happens!
Hello there! I’m on a dual monitor setup with cosmic. In the 1st photo, my monitor has the windows 11 wallpaper (yes I’m evil) with the dock and panel and my laptop has a ThinkPad wallpaper with nothing, the monitor is my main and ThinkPad second monitor. When I unplug my main monitor (as seen in second photo), I want the windows 11 wallpaper along with the panel and dock on the ThinkPad screen, because when I unplug my monitor, it still only shows the ThinkPad wallpaper with nothing dock and panel, is there a setting I have to change or what?
So this is my T14 Gen 1, with Cachy OS running Cosmic DE, I used KDE but it’s very very buggy and slow, and I really like hyprland but it’s a pain and KDE is too heavy so for me cosmic is the in between, rate it 1-10 :)
Using this phone till it loses support
Hello! I am new to Linux and I recently bought a T14 G1 as my main machine, it has the i7-10510U, 16gb DDR4, and a 50wH battery, the battery life has been decreased to 48wH because it’s used, it hovers around the 3-4 hours battery life mark, and I want to squeeze the most battery out of this think, I have tried tlp, thermald, auto-cpufreq, so I need other tools to aim for at least 6-7 (it’s not a joke I swear) hours, is it possible and any answer is needed
This is my ancient Inspiron 1545, it’s headless, and it has a broken Linux install, I want to install windows vista on it because I finally got a monitor with vga, so I am wondering if I can output the BIOS and POST on the VGA monitor because my screen is broken
So I bought this T14 G1 for 1200 riyal (329 Dollars) from this shop (Al Rayes). I bought it TODAY, I installed cachy OS on it, and even bought a monitor for it, I’m proud of it since I’m only 13- 16 years old and know a lot about Linux, so what are your tips and tricks to make it run faster, cooler, and more efficiently
