Indy Summer House Watch Party

Hey all!! I've confirmed a watch party at The Dugout Bar in Fountain Square for the Summer House Reunion!!! It's a cozy local spot, they have great service and great food! If you have never been, you would love it! I suggest getting there around 7pm, but please share this and comment if you're IN 🫶 Indy doesn't do enough of these, so I'm excited to get this one going (hopefully encouraging more attendance for parts 2+3!)

INDY - Bravo 'Summer House' watch party

This is just for the Central Indy folk that watch Summerhouse. I would love for us to get together somewhere and have a mini takeover of a cool bar that would let us watch the reunion together 🫶

All I ask is for help and recommendations for contacting bars in the Fountain Square/Mass Ave/Broad Ripple/Irvington neighborhoods to host us. That, and taking such great care of them that they want us back for any part 2/3/4's that may happen (and other reality TV viewing parties)

We have some great bars (Dugout being one idea of mine, having all of that space and all of those TVs - but I'm open to other suggestions!)

Turn 3 vs Turn 2 infield

I'm just curious on the difference in atmosphere between the two turns, if there is any. I feel like I've heard turn 3 is a party atmosphere, but I've only been to turn 2 so I'm just looking to hear from folk some pros and cons comparing the two.

I'm going with a few first timers EARLY (wake up and leave the near east side by 350/4am) so I want them to have a great time. Turn 2 I love because of where our usual spot is, but if I see enough pros for Turn 3 I might check it out this year if it genuinely means my friends have a better time

So I've been before, but this is our first year with parking passes, we have always gotten dropped off at Gate 3. We have parking passes in Lot 1C and I know that walk is less than ideal for folk who love Turn 2 infield (I tried to get closer but was unable)

We plan to scope the area the day before so we can see if it's doable/how the signs are placed for parking lines - but my plan was to get a chunk of us dropped off at the turn 2 entrance (Gate 3, I believe?) and have the drivers go park and come meet us. We will be getting there around 4am so time isn't an issue. We've walked miles home years past, but I have some first timers this year and am interested in any tips for making that dropoff easier. Are there certain roads we should be on to park in 1C? Is it easier to just get in line for parking and then have half our crew hop out and walk to the gate?

Any and all advice is appreciated. If we all have to walk even an hour we're fine to do it, but with a larger group this year we wanted to secure extra space in our favorite turn and get close to the front of the line. 🫶 I want to be a well prepared host for my first timers, even if it means I prepare them with some slightly unpleasant news.

▲ 5 r/Brides

So my bachelorette is a mixed Bach/bachelorette at the Indy 500. The speedway is why I met my fiance and we've been going to the race each year since being together. I'm not all for super stereotypical bachelorette party things but I want to make it feel a little traditional? I'm just falling short on things we can do as a group.

So far, the plans for the weekend are Friday bridal shower, Saturday cookout and sleepover, Sunday race day.

If you were planning for your bride, what ideas would you come up with? We're getting to the track at 4am, race starts at 12:45. So there are a few hours where we can do something silly and fun. I love planning, but I plan better for other people. When it comes to my own birthdays and celebrating me, I always end up wishing I did more for myself.
