My brand new bike was in an accident just after purchasing, insurance agent after inspection said he was going to total it but after a month of my lawyer fighting them the agreed to pay off the loan and I can keep the bike so they can “ wash there hands of the situation”. My lawyer then died very short after so I’m not able to ask any questions. But I’m confused because I never signed anything or heard anything that the bike was a salvage now. In fact I’ve been pulled over multiple times and cops haven’t said a word, I checked FLSMV and everything is super clean besides an accident that was reported, the dmv let me get the title in my name and it is the active title that’s completely clean. Aswell as I’m receiving mail saying I need to renew my registration. I just want to sell this thing it’s been fixed for over a year.

My new apartment requires a $500 deposit for pets aswell as $50 extra a month on top of rent, this seems extreme to me but perhaps this is normal as it is my first apartment. I would like to get a small dog but this seems a bit pricey. There’s no cameras anywhere and I have yet to see management once since I’ve moved is. I feel like I could easily get away with not paying the deposit but my girlfriend says it’s a bad idea. I just want a corgi😭
