What video game genre did you once love, but now just cannot get into, no matter how much you want to?

When I was younger I love first person shooters, nowadays I just cannot for the life of me bring myself to play one for more than a couple of hours, I've tried DOOM 2016 three times, I've tried Metro 2033 twice, I've even tried getting back into Apex Legends and one of the recent CODsfor whatever reason I just don't enjoy them like I used to, which is weird because I'm totally fine with third person shooters. In all fairness I am more of an RPG guy these days, but I've always been pretty easy in terms of genres.

Redditors who decided to call out a scam caller on their bull, did anything ever come of it? Usually its just empty threats, did any of you ever actually experience consequences?

What is one thing you think PS4 did better than PS5?

Personally I miss the themes/backgrounds from the PS4, PS5 has a couple of cool backgrounds but nothing will beat booting up my PS4 and listening to Tifa's theme playing in the background for 10 minutes before I actually started a game up, I hope they bring it back for the next generation console.

Xbox showcase just wrapped up, still no TES VI

Don't get me wrong, the showcase was good Gears Of War E-Day looks incredible and might be a reason to purchase an Xbox for me, Spyro, Metro and Persona 6 are all super exciting, but the one thing I was hoping for, even if it was just something small, was TES VI and we still have nothing after 8 years. I don't want to be negative, but at this point I'm sick of waiting to hear nothing.

Anyway, rant over, sorry for the negativity folks.

Just started Persona 5 Royal, my first game in the Megaten franchise. How long is this thing!?

So for context, I'm no stranger to JRPG's, I've played several of them including games from the Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts and Tales franchises, as well as a chunk of Ni No Kuni, I know that these tend to be long games even without side content, many of them being up to or over 60 hours, but I have never played a single Megaten or Atlus game, I've heard great things about Persona 5 Royal so decided I'd make that my first.

I'm currently around 10% of the way through Persona 5 with almost 30 hours of gameplay, but that number is slightly inflated due to the fact that the only time I get to play these games is at night after the wife and kids go to bed, so I've fallen asleep a couple of times while playing (not out of boredom, but because I'm a working father of 2 in my late 20s, I'm actually very much enjoying what time I do get to have with the game) and wound up having to regain lost progress because I've had to close out the game in the middle of a Palace with no recent saves when my wife and I want to play a game together, but even with that 10% seemed very low to me, so I did some googling and every source I find is telling me a typical playthrough takes over 100 hours!? Is the game really that long?

I'm okay with that if it is because I'm having fun and love the characters but there is a strong chance that this will be the longest game I've ever played, most games don't take me that long even WITH side content so I need to be mentally prepared for this because it will take me a while to get through given that I only get about 2-4 hours max a day
