Comp players, I'm doing some research this week. Can you provide a little data?

Hello everyone. Many of you have seen my comments here, as I offer my perspective to help players struggling with their mentals.

I'm doing some research that I hope will help my students (and, hopefully, the community at large). Would you be willing to collect a little data for me this week? This will require no additional play time outside of what you normally do, and the data you will be asked to collect will be very, very simple.

If youre willing to help me out, I would appreciate it! Leave a comment here and I'll DM you.

[Switch] While replacing my switch battery, I broke this piece while attempting to unplug the old battery. Is there any way to fix or replace it?

Apologies for my ignorance, not sure what to call this piece/connector. Any guidance would be appreciated.

A QoL I havent seen requested yet thatd be a big help.

Theres a number of items with "on sell" abilities, loot items mostly. Ones that affect all items will hit, well, everything, including your stash.

But my biggest pet peeve are the ones that hit your leftmost item. Specifically, when I have nothing on my board that will benefit from an on sell ability, its SO frustrating that the effect will just completely whiff, instead of hitting an item that COULD benefit from it in my stash.

Its so annoying to have suddenly pause, adjust the item I want to hit out of my stash and onto my board, sell the loot item, and then readjust it back into my inventory and put my board back as I wanted it.

What Id suggest is just, when nothing is affected on a players main board with one of these effects, try to hit the leftmost viable item in their stash.

This would remove a lot of annoying upkeep time during a run. Theres also basically no situation where you wouldnt want to hit 'something' with the on sale effect.

Hello! Im looking for collegiate smash coaches to throw a few questions at. Ive been coaching the game at a high school level for a fair bit, but am transitioning to the college level soon and I was hoping to speak to fellow coaches who've worked at that level before. If you know of anyone, or are one yourself, whod be willing to talk through a bit, Id appreciate it!
