You always look at random acts of kindness posts and go "Woww" and wonder how it would feel when you're on the receiving end...

Well, it feels AMAZING!! 💫

Been collecting for about a year and half and actively sharing my collections throughout and I never got a chance at an STH thus far, here in India. (Not that it doesn't exist, the supply is just screwed up) ⏳

A friend of mine who I met through our Reddit community has been so gracious to send me this Volvo 240 Drift Wagon STH as a gift along with my other hauls from the US. He knows I love this model much with the doggos in the back! Perfect pick for my first and a perfect surprise! 💯🙏🏻🎅🏻

From the other post... So, I had asked this reddit friend of mine to help with a few ISOs from the US and they sent me this shipment recently.

While I was already flying to get such cool cars that are not available in India, to my striking surprise, I noticed a glistening green model in the box.

I was only trying to complete my Moody Blues and Black Gold collection and this was out of the picture. Within a second without even opening it knew EXACTLY what it was.

💥 Boom! Goosebumps 🙀

🐕🐶 Knowing that I am a huge fan of easter egss and particularly my love towards the Volvo 240 Drift Wagon, he decided to add the Volvo Wagon STH from 2024 as a gift!! Turns out it was a birthday present 🎁 I had only mentioned as a passing comment that he'd be bringing me gifts in May cuz that's my birthday month 🫢

Never in my wildest dreams did I expect that someone would actually gift me something like this, and that too a $oup! Boy oh boy, the thrill of it, bro gave the excitement of finding one in the wild over a mail call 😝😂🙌🏻🙏🏻

And that's how, now I have my first STH, and undoubtedly a casting that I would cherish for life!!

I never asked for anything in return when I keep posting constantly and passionately about Hot Wheels for more than a year or when I giveaway to people. You just do it for the joy of it! But life does find a way to give it back, in ways and forms through people, when you least expect it! ✨💫😇

It's such a pity that I couldn't tag this gem of a person..but I'm immensely grateful for your generous and kind show of love! 🫶🏻

Ever since there was the possibility of getting some of my wishlist models from the US, I was constantly keeping a tab on my excitement. Cuz that's a whole ocean of market altogether and you get SO much stuff there!

I keep saying this to my other collector friend, that, if we ever go to the US, we are going bankrupt the first day without even landing in Vegas. We go bankrupt in El Segundo, California (Mattel HQ, if you didn't know). 😂😂😂

Jokes aside, very grateful for this US friend whom I met in our community 🤩 There has always been mutual respect and fun interactions when we meet in posts and comments. Then one day, I asked if he could get me the Pikes Peak Radford Elite 64 for my Black-Gold/JPS collection and he did not even think for a bit! The best part of all, I feel, is meeting such people and connecting with them through this hobby! Just makes it all the more enjoyable 🤝🏼

Not only did he get me my first Elite 64 from Mattel Creations, he was also so up for hunting down few of my long pending ISOs, some of them were sneaking inside mystery packs 🫣 (Try guessing what. I'll reveal it a bit later). The multipack exclusive '71 Porsche for example, was the one missing model that started my black gold collection, and now that's complete too!! 🖤🌟 This is something that never came to India and no one Imports 3 packs normally.

The other Porsche 935 was an unexpected addition that he happened to have extra of 🫡 Then the Mod Rod XL, hooyeahh, not at all risking about that coming to india or not, +1 into the Moody Blues garage 🏙️ and good to see a new release added to the collection already!

That's...not even all!! The BESTEST part is yet to come...

Turns out the latest dodge charger daytona was actually a coca cola livery!!?

🕰️ Dodge Charger Daytona is one of the cars in the history's hall of fame for being so good that it got banned. Right on top with the likes of Mazda 787B and Audi Sport Quattro S1.

Back in the late '60s, a butthurt Dodge that was facing back to back defeats from Plymouth (which in turn was getting kicked left right and center by Fords and Mercuries.. Yeah, Some era!) wanted to make a race winner. Cuz, nothing sells more than being a winner on track. 🏆

So they took their best and fast model right then, the '69 Charger and made it better than their best - 🚀 Gave wings & Put a nose! 🏎️

Boom! The upgrade was literally a rocket ship that broke the 200 MPH barrier for the first time and won races! Funny thing is Plymouth caught on this too and made their own version of this using their road runner and thus became the "Superbird"! 💥

Really cool looking car and probably one of the most iconic of the muscle cars going to race in tracks. This particular Gold-Red livery is a close match to the Coco-Cola livery (see comments)

Although different technically, the livery is a direct redo of the 2020 Boulevard, from the first release!

I remember Roger Dodger getting a redo livery from the 2019 Larry Wood version last year too.

Some might call this lazy graphic design or reuse, but I like such "recalls"
