Let's talk double bladed paddles

I just recently picked up my first solo canoe. I would like to buy a double bladed paddle for it. My question is how important is it to get a "canoe" paddle vs kayak paddle. It seems most kayak paddle speak of "low angle" paddling. Obviously a canoe is far higher in the water.

Is the low angle just marketing speak? Will it make a big difference compared to a proper double bladed canoe paddle (H2O I believe makes one for example)?

The paddle I'm looking at is the Pelican catch 260 (260cm) angler kayak paddle. It's incredibly light compared to most at a decent price.

Temagami/Lady Evelyn route question

I'm looking at doing the North and South channels of the Lady Evelyn River next year. Can anyone recommend me if it is a nicer paddle to access it from Mowat Landing or either of the access point 27 locations (Ferguson Bay/Red Squirrel Lake)?

Benefits of a sliding seat in a solo canoe?

I'm in the market for a canoe and found a used Swift Keewaydin 15 carbon fusion/carbon tech solo canoe for a decent price for sale near me. It has a foot bar, which I want, and a sliding seat, which I have never considered.

For those with more experience, is it really useful in a solo to have a sliding seat? I think I can picture the benefits of it by moving it forward in a strong wind and further back in a calmer day. I'm just not sure if it is worth it. If you move the seat back you are also adjusting your foot bar. Also, I will likely install knee pads and moving the seat around will put them out of position. I guess the simple solution to that is you put the knee pads in the location you would want them to be in if the seat was fully forward.

Unfortunately this canoe isn't near water so I can't test paddle it.
