I was on the subreddit r/doodles when I came across an artist who had posted a few cat drawings that were amazing! I was looking at their profile and I saw that they did commissions. I sent them a message and asked them if they could do a picture with all of my pets, and we got to chatting. They asked for multiple pictures and the personalities of my fur babies, and this is what they came up with. It's perfect!! They got their personalities spot on! I love commissioning artists and getting something very personalized. Also, it really wasn't too expensive. I really couldn't be happier.

Find an artist that you like and find out if they do commissions, support the art community!

Hi there. I want to introduce my daughter to fishing this year. We got her a kids pole and she's having so much fun casting it out into the yard and is actually doing a pretty good job!

I am wondering where some good places would be I could take her fishing after school. So somewhere that is close-ish to Portland would be great. I am wanting a lake or a pond so we can just throw a line with a bobber in the water and not have to deal with rushing water of a river. Thanks in advance!!

Also, parents who have taken their kiddos fishing for the first time, what are some things to expect? Any pointers? Thoughts and advice? Thank you!!

Perhaps this has been stated on here before, but IMO, I find it frustrating that he is constantly compared to his father in every book that he writes. I think that Joe Hill has a different writing style that I find more interesting and captivating than King. Yes, they are related, but these are two completely different authors. It's like always comparing Koontz's books to Kings. ALWAYS. Just doesn't seem fair that he is consistently compared to his father.

Anyways, just a rant.
