What parking permit do I get?

I reside in Virginia Beach and going to GMU in a few weeks. However, I am in the Army National Guard and I need to bring my truck for drill weekend and have it on standby, as my unit is in Richmond. What permit should I buy as a freshman? I absolutely need my vehicle

Take the minuteman scholarship or commission active?

I am a 15T in the Virginia ARNG and I’m planning to do ROTC at GMU. However, I want to commission active, but the minuteman locks me out of that. Which is better overall to commission to, Guard or Active, and should I take it? Planning to major in Mechanical Engineering.

I’ve also received FAFSA money, and I plan to use the Tuition Assistance.
