Where are the best spots in NYC to hear children crying and their parents at wits end?

Looking for a place where kids and parents go where kids don't get what they want or are having "a day" and they wail and beg. Bonus points if the parents are fuming and seconds away from packing it all up and taking everyone home.

This is for a small local research project. No persons will be approached or questioned, it's for observatory purposes only. Thanks!

Target removed the plexiglass!

Never thought we’d see the day. You can now go to the target at 14th/A and grab what you need from the shelf without having to embarrass yourself asking for help.

Extremely strange stereo file behavior???

I'm in the middle of an important project and don't typically update until I reach a clean break in project (usually every 3 months)

Reaper V 7.33 MAC/OSX Tahoe 26.3.1

Focusrite Clarette 4Pre running Focusrite control 3.20.0.220

Mackie CR-3-X speakers

Rode NTH-100 headphones

Issue: A downloaded stereo audio file of a public speech does not play through my speakers but does through my headphones.

Details: I'm using the two headphone outs on my Focusrite; 1 for my headphone the other for my speaker input. The routing through Focusrite Control is exactly the same for both headphone outputs. To test this, I swapped the physical outputs which made no change. The stereo audio file is panned center, I hear in the headphones, not the speaker. I pan the stereo file either left or right and the speaker then plays the audio as well as the headphones. ALL other audio in my project plays through both speakers and headphones without issue.

Track setup: Master Fader - no effects not mono. Stereo Audio Track - no effects not mono, not panned. All other tracks panned and have effects.

Here is where things get really weird: If I take the stereo audio file and keep it panned center and solo'd I hear nothing in the speakers, then unsolo to allow my guitar to play along, the stereo audio file becomes audible in my speakers. Additionally, if I have the stereo audio file solo'd and centered then add a reverb or delay, I can hear the audio in the speakers.

I've checked the item properties and changed the Channel Mode as well as inverting the audio, all to the same effect...

I have no idea why this is happening. Does anyone know something about phasing that I'm missing?
