I tried my hand at designing a quest for Draw Steel! The system is honestly a joy to work with, especially because I never felt obligated to throw in a combat encounter to whittle down the players' resources. Tactics go where they belong: in the moments where they really matter! It freed up a lot of space for my story gamer heart to be literary—to build up a spooky Arthurian atmosphere... and then make the players do something really hard.

By the way, some of you may recognize the inspiration for the willow from a previous MCDM product; one from the ole 5e days. :)
