Dealership or elsewhere for oil change?

First hybrid I own, a 26 Niro. About to hit my first 5000 miles and getting ready to take it in for it's first oil change here in northern IL. My previous car, I'd just take it to a LubePros and never had any issues.

With this being a hybrid, would that still fly? Or would it best dealing with the dealership? Personally, I'd rather not, what with fishy tactics and all those stories of them charging an arm and a leg for like a simple peek at things. But I know hybrids and EVs in general may need more specific care so I'll bite my tongue and grit my teeth and bare it if I have to.

What say you good folks?

Wth just happened to Newburg?

Driving home on Newburg headed west through the construction between Mulford and Alpine - they had just recently finished paving the whole thing and it seems like they just needed to finish painting all the lanes and such - but I noticed tonight they started ripping apart random spots apart THAT THEY JUST NEWLY REPAVED!

Which is so sad to have wasted all that time, and it was across the entire stretch, primarily focused on the north side of the road. I couldn't tell why. My hunch is they accidentally forgot to work on some sewage lines or something? But man... looks like a screw up. I hope I'm wrong, but yikes.

Anyone know anything?

Oh look, down again.

Northern IL. I imagine my fellow northern neighbors in Wisconsin are also experiencing the same thing - because they did the last two times. For the third time in less than 30 days, Internet is down. No warning. No email. No nothing. I'm on hold right now 7 minutes in, just to tell them about an outage. No doubt I'm not the only one.

I'm ready to cancel. The connection speed is amazing, but the reliability is absolute garbage, which is impossible to have while working from home. My wife already got in trouble once. This is absolute madness.

Rear of detached garage on a slope: what can I do?

So I had someone help me clear out the mini jungle I had growing behind my garage. I've been wanting to do something to either use the space or just make it look nice. This is essentially how I bought the home so many years ago but after back surgery, it's taken me out of commission on many DIY projects. I'm at a point now where I make ok money and I can hire some landscapers. Question is, what can I do? There's a retention wall on the side that more than likely needs to be reworked as well, and as we can see the soil is super uneven. I love the idea of stairs but was never crazy of the previous owners idea of how that should have been placed down.

I guess I'm at a loss. Would a landscaper be able to give me ideas or do I have to be ready with what I would like? I just need to make sure whatever I want also plays to the needs of the foundation (anchoring the soil, water flow, etc). Any advise, ideas, or "you can't build anything on that, that area is DOA" comments appreciated. Thanks!

Race B - Nurburgring Reverse: AHHHHHHH!!!!!!

Not even qualifying in the top three saves me!!! Holy hell, slow the hell down on the first three turns!!! Gawd, I've gone from highest S down to A because I keep getting rear ended into someone else, or people breaking too early right before the Nordschleife, or not breaking at all, and just AGGGGGHHHHHHGGGHHHGGHHHHH!!!

I'm just banging my head like mad here. I quit my first game in MONTHS. MONTHS! Because I was wiped out in the first freaking turn after starting 3rd because the guy behind me just didn't want to take it easy on the turn I guess? N/m I was going right along with 2nd and 1st. Nope. Just take my ass out. It's not like you don't have 7 whole ass minutes to go on a single lap and treacherous turns that'll probably take you out since you're driving like an idiot.

I hate it here. I'm gonna go scream into the void now.
